Intrigued to know the people who voted for another, what team they were thinking of.

The question is who are Brentford's biggest rivals? Personally i think Brentford's biggest rivals are QPR, but on a personal level it would be Bournemouth as thats where i have lived for 22 years.

Personally I'd say Reading (and that's who I voted for)but that's more down to my circumstances and what has happened this season, I wouldn't expect the average Brentford fan to say that.

Having grown up hating Fulham, I'm still finding it hard to really loathe Q.P.R. Fulham get my vote therefore, although I did go through a period of absolutely despising Gillingham! Seems to have passed now!

Rivals off the field.....as above. Rivals on the field has to be QPR, purely because they're competing in the same division.....I believe that is the qualifying criteiria. Wyc0-0ombe....our rivals? Don't think so!

I voted for Wycombe because I hate them, I can't stand them. I hate them the most on par with Leyton Orient, a defeat for Leyton Orient and Wycombe brings me the most joy, probably Orient more if i'm honest (but i found voting for other to be boring) and believe me I can't wait till the 21st September on my 18th Birthday when we beat the bastards and I get to laugh at lawrie Sanchez once again.

I hate Birmingham because they cheated us out of the title back in 1995. They bought their way out of the division, had that fat **** Barry Fry in charge, and there was only one automatic promotion spot up for grabs.
Their fans are also big ****s too, as they seem to be stuck in the seventies.

Back to the real issues. QPR, to me, are not the real rivals. Watford, Reading, Luton and Fulham are bigger rivals than QPR. Give it a few more years of big derby games, and QPR will be our biggest rivals, but unless you're over the age of 40, then QPR should not be on your list.

In terms of teams I hate, Brumscum are clearly top (for the reasons so eloquently put by Leicester Bee), although I am pleased for Martin Grainger that they went up. I would still have preferred for Norwich to beat them in the play offs (I can tell you that it was no fun at all being in the MilStad for two defeats in a weekend!).

I see QPR as our biggest current rivals, even though, through the beesotted match and the operation of the rivals MBs I actually know and like a lot of their fans. A sign of them being our real rivals is the attendances that we got in our two matches with them this season and the real rush to get tickets. It wasn't like that against Fulham when we last played them (even though we were pretty woeful at the time) and certainly not against Watford that season either.

If after over 30 years of being in different divisions both the home and away games (regardless of league position) against a local club are sell outs, the clubs are real rivals.

PS- Wycombe? Nah, their rivals are Colchester and they know it.

Rivals

Fooolscum, it always will be. April 26th 1992 will remain a sweet memory for some time to come. Sister married a fulham fan, uncle is a fulham fan... to be fair I don't so much have anything against the 'old guard' fans now, just the new 'wanna be's' and the club. Fair play to my sister though (she no footy fan), she said if I get some Bees baby clothes she'll put em on her baby!

Reading as well, used to live there, horrible place.

Qpha cos there local... my local greengrocers used to have qpr scratched into the bowl of there bog.

Birmingham, is down to a warm friendly midlands welcome for a few fixtures in the 90's.

Oh What a difference a year makes!!!

QPR are in a clear lead, but I doubt if other clubs around the country have as many 'hated' teams.

If I recall last year the rivallary with QPR was no where near as high. It seams that they have taken votes of off Reading and Watford.

Hatred of Fucham (I loved that programme gaff) is still strong.
