Take into account, quality, reliability, effort, effect on the team and potential, and arrange our squad into the order that you rate them. Best first, Worst last. I have excluded those who have started < 2 games, and those who have made < 5 sub appearances. Below the line are the players you would happily let go.

Why 13 players - is this just an arbitary figure by yourself as it is not enough to put out a side with subs!

To be contentious, I would include Jamie Fullarton as (like Evans last season) his ability may not always be the best but he does 'gee up' the players if heads start to drop.

I would also include Jay Smith as he has impressed me in his recent matches (he certainly did not earlier in the season) and he must be cheap to keep!

therefore, my list would be 15!

The players below the line, are players who either aren't up to it, don't offer anything to the side, and basically players you wouldn't want in the squad for next year. There can be between 0 and 21 players below the line. The line was just an afterthought, to split who people rate, and who people hate

Jay Smith went off the boil in his last couple of games granted but he showed me enough before then to warrant keeping him

Fullarton is a motivator and we desperately need one of those around the place, no one else speaks on the pitch bar Frampton and that showed at Vale Park, GP, The Addams Family Park etc., etc., etc.,

Okay, I know Vine's due to go anyway. And unlike some others, I'd put Mark McC as one of the players I'd be keenest to keep. (Not most skilful, perhaps, but I don't remember his head ever going down despite not scoring. I have the same affection for him as I had for Sir Bob Booker on that count alone.)

as for going and staying i reckon Marshall (wages), mccammon, willo could go. Hughes= not seen him yet. Somner= getting worse but maybe should give him a rest or smthg. Leon= can go as he's hardly figured.

Football is all about opinions as they say, But i,m getting fed up with all the slagging off of individual players on here. We are all fed up with the recent results and league position. But its not going to do the youngsters confidence any good. Somner for instance looks a good prospect to me, who has been played out of position in a lot of recent games. He probably needs to be rested, but it ain't going to happen, so he has to battle on. Lets get behind the side and get the points we need to keep us up.

Didn't actually mean Somner was our third best player - I just cut and pasted him to there, tho' I definitely think he's got potential.

Frampton? He may well talk and organise, but I don't particularly rate him at centre back - he got caught out even more than Martshall in a recent game. Think Dobbo's better at right back and Fieldwick's impressed me more at left back. He seems too slow (though he might be useful as a squad player.) But overall, at three years older than Fieldwick and Somner, he seems less of a long-term investment - if that isn't mad, considering he's still only 23.

Since you didn't ask, by the way, my top 10 players this season in order are: Hunt, Smith, Dobbo, Sonko, McCammon, O'Connor, Roget, Smith, Hutchison, Fieldwick.
