From last season, if it was a choice between Rankin and Burton, Rankin would be in front. He gives it everything, Burton was lazy. If Rankin had a 15% chance of getting the ball, he would go for it. If Burton had an 85% chance of getting the ball, he would watch it.

As for our top scorer, I reckon DJ is the man.

Barring injury, I'd back DJ, with 13-14 goals. I can't see us getting as many pens in the second half of the season to keep Kev going at his current rate, Lloyd lacks the confidence in front of goal to get a lot more and no-one else seems likely to get double figures.

Our strength is that we might have 6 or 7 players with 6-10 goals each

I agree with you, Burton was a player who controlled the ball and held it up with ease...this is different to being lazy

O'Connor will probably get 10+ because he's the penalty taker and Sodje might reach double figures too.

Weve improved recently ,we did grind out a few results early in the season .

i woudl rather have many players who score than just rely on the 2 strikers as reading last year when kitson got injured they couldnt score or win,
so its a good thing we have goals coming in from all over, id be happy with 5 players getting 8 - 9 goals above

Lloyd just hasn't looked likely to get into double figures... DJ is sharp and has started less games... Also agree that rankin puts in more effort than most.

And he's still coming in with goals, despite also playing on the wing, why do people complain so much, if you can have a bad game, and score goals, then it proves what a good striker you are.
