Was he missing yesterday because he was playing for Ghana?

So of the 6 players we signed in the summer (Newman, Skulason, Owusu, Brooker, Campbell and Tillen) DJ is the only who was fit enough to be in Saturday's squad?

I hope that we've already had our season's share of bad luck with injuries

Top of the league with the injuries we have got and win at forest with fitz and gayle upfront, imagine what we will be like when we have a fit squad :sorted:

Any idea/update on when we are likely to see any or all of these players back ?

Skulason, is all season I gather.

But what about, Owusu, Dobson, Tillen, Brooker, Newman and Rhodes

Who is the 8th player ?

Read Martin's comments on the OS, IBAE!

I've read the comments !!! but he doesn't say when they are likely to come back.
How long does it take to come back from a hip injury ?
Newman's injury was supposed to have been all clear by the Cheltenham game, but he seems to have had a relapse. Any updates/ideas when he will be back ?

Today's update says Brooker, Owusu and Dobson will hopefully be back by Saturday.

As for the rest I suspect Xmas seems about right for Rhodes while Skulason should be aiming to be fully fit for next August, anything else is a bonus IMHO.

Newman and Tillen will shorter term, but I guess it's a bit up in the air.

Can't think of the 8th player

Spoke 2 Alex after the Gillingham game and he seems confident that he will be back in October.

Dont put any money on it. He hasnt kicked a ball with the others in training yet. He still trains on his lonesome. Possibly mid nov at the very earliest

Tell you what, can't wait for Rhodesy to come back, let's hope he's still got his pace. He's another player who knows where the net is and isn't afraid to shoot, could be a great asset for us in the second half of the season...

Let's hope the training staff and MA don't share your impatience. The chances of relapse are enormous and hopefully great care will be taken here. Preferably not back until fully, completely ready to go.
