Sound's very promising, hopefully he impresses in the next few day's of his trial, look's like the building for next season has now begun:D

Pal on trial

Sounds good. Young striker. Hope he signs, Griffin is supposed to be a good scout, so could prove useful

Pal on trial

I've had a chat with Nostrledamus and he's told me that "A Dane will come to a capital and shall prove to be greatly successful"

roughtly translated "Bees for division 1 in 2004/05"

Lets hope old nostrledamus is right again as he is every othe rtime he is mentioned.
:D :D :D

Pal on trial

?

I assume he can not play for us this season because of his current contract ?

Pal on trial

April Fool - now create an anagram of Pal Foriol !!
So who fell for it:blush

Pal on trial

This is obviously a final parting shot from our former chairman.
What's today's date ?
It will certainly be a miracle if the Bee's pull this signing off !!

Pal on trial

lol

I heard Ful*am were after him as they are a joke club! ;)

Well done Gee Bee - shame on you bigbee!

I am sorry Mark but I have rather a sense of humour breakdown when it comes to subjects like transfers.

It just shows what paupers we really are when the prospect of us actually signing a young striker on loan is such an impossibility that the club treats it like an April Fool.

I also don't think it is something that the club should be joking about - they should be looking at identifying young non-league prospects and out of contract players who MIGHT be within our wage structure rather than taking the p out of the already long-suffering supporters.

In fact Mark if YOU are responsible for this tawdry apology for a joke then YOU are the real April Fool.

bad day at the office Greville?? :D

I remember you were part of the crowd trying to fool Teamtalk into thinking Brentford had signed Andy Booth a few years back!

Pal on trial

Mark, surely it would be better to have posted it on the GPG not the Official Website? To be honest I think its pretty sad that you treat your job as such a joke, especially when you supposidly love the club that employs you.

No wonder people treat you so badly on this board.

Well said - whats the difference NLB?

Pal on trial

The difference is that Teamtalk is a website known to tout false information which has no credibility and is treated as a joke by all who visit it.

The Official Brentford website on the other hand.......

My sense of humour is totally unimpaired despite the best efforts of the clowns running our club.

Nice one, Mark rofl rofl rofl

I actually thought it was good too. :D

Pal on trial

Think it would have been funnier if it had been announced that long time BFC fan DEN SAROON had promised a large funding to the club over the next two years and was to be our next chairman!!

Pal on trial

I think the funniest thing about it, is the BBC put it on their teletext service this morning in news in brief page 312, dont know if it's still there, but it fooled them. rofl

hook ,line and stinker...........

Yeah ,I fell Mark. You got me in a weak moment ,I may of even come back to see your puppies again. Its pure desperation as we're all longing to see a decent striker come in.I wouldnt of been as harsh as Greville but maybe another subject wouldnt of hit the nerve so much ! I bet Rons chuckling to him him self as he counts the contents of his wallet whilst pulling the legs off spiders.

Pal on trial

Nice to see that the club has a sense of humour! Hopefully the laughs will continue now Ron has gone, Mr Chapman!

But couldn't you have used anything other than a STRIKER for the joke? Even made him a defender or something? Too upsetting for words that. :(

Still funny though! lol

Pal on trial

yea lighten up everyone!we are at least trying to look at strikers-mikael antoine claudier...

"He has settled in well and may prove to be our joker in the pack"

I didn't get the chance to be fooled by this news because I saw the ''April Fooled?'' thread on the official site before the ''Pal On Trial''. I think it was quite funny, especially as it fooled The Beeb!:D

I have to admit I might have fallen for it but, the last line kinda gives it away.....

Bees boss Wally Downes said: "He has settled in well and may prove to be our joker in the pack". :jester:

Me Too...

Yup, have to confess, I fell for it.

Nothing wrong with a bit of a laugh and that is all this was! rofl

Pal on trial

I also fell for it:D

just goes to show how stupid some people are rofl rofl {no affence guys}

Pal on trial

poor old BBC, they also fell for Northampton's April Fool... "Sol Rebbc", the former Australian junior International they supposedly had on trial, is an anagram of Cobblers.

Pal on trial

lol

only just seen this, one of the funniest things about it is the small minority who had a go :nono: as has been said above, sort it out, get a life etc..

Pal on trial

April fools jokes are stoopid! There's one in The Sun about Capello getting the England team to learn Italian.

Pal on trial

They're ok if they're actually funny  . The one from the cobblers was about as funny as dogs muck on new trainers :(

Pal on trial

On a real note the London Paper () said today we had a training ground friendly against Dagenham with Scott watching over many trialists. Any names or info? Or have I missed this elsewhere?

Pal on trial

Any names or info?
If that is true, I'd rather names and info weren't released. We don't want other teams sniffing the bottoms of next years Brentford Big Dogs :sorted:
