German was signed to the Development squad and Weston is a left winger.
I doubt Grella will get many games so I still make it two out and out strikers not 5 and please provide proof that crowds are down.

After doing well in the Premier last season, I imagine that the Championship would be the best place for him to "kick on" in what's left of this season as he'll never get a run at QPR.

I think in signing Cisse and Zamora, it's pretty certain that DJ will have fallen down the pecking order when you consider they also have Bothroyd, Helgursonn, Mackie and Hulse (?) on the books.
I said pre season I think DJ would have been a great signing for West Ham and still not sure he has enough in his game to be a success at Premiership level. What I mean is that he needs to be accomodated as is very much a poacher and while nothing wrong with that I'm not sure he has the all round game and strengths of most premiership quality strikers.
He will still score plenty for someone at Championship level I'm sure - someone like Cardiff who play good football but only seem to score great goals from 30 odd yards may benefit from a predator.

Had looked promising (just lacking an eye for goal) when we had him on loan all those years ago, but looked out of condition against us and I can't imagine we'd be interested

68 goals in 425 appearances. He did score some amazing goals in his time and looked the real deal, a real powerhouse dribbling through people.... that was 10 years ago though and he never reached his potential.

Good God I hope we don't sign PA. He looked total sh*te at Stevenage and a good couple of stone overweight. Can't believe UR would be interested.
