You will probably find that they gave him a free transfer. However as we saw with Steve Hunt last season that doesn't necessarily mean he's no longer at the club.

In regards to your original question, how are we going to pay his wages? Lifeline again?

According to the BBC 606 page he scored 2 goals for Forest's reserves in the last week.

Theres no way we can afford him to be at the club. If the money is available however, i think it would be better spent on extending pratleys loan at the club...although i do agree the team could do with a leader. When is Newman back, does anyone know?

I think we've seen the best of Paul Evans, to get him back would be a mistake. In any case, there is absolutely no way we can afford him. Plus even if we did have the money, it would be better spent elsewhere.
