Tragic news.

A young man who went far too soon and sadly didn't see his child grow up.

I'm not a snooker fan at all but I'd heard of him because of his battle with cancer.

To die at 27 years old just isn't right.:(

I can only speak for myself but sometimes when these tragedies happen they metaphorically kick you right where it hurts.

Don't follow snooker that much so don't really know why this one should but what i'd seen of him he was a happy go lucky bloke who seemed to have a hell of a lot going for him and then he falls prey for the big 'C' at such a young age.

There are a lot more tragedies that happen every day that don't make the news and are felt just as much by loved ones but this just reminds you that 'there for the grace of god go we' (& i'm not particularly religious).

Thoughts with his family and friends at this terribly difficult time :sad:

I read his Mrs' account of their lives together in the Mail on Sunday. As I read it my eyes filled and I had a lump in my throat. He was a very sick man towards the end:sad:. The way she told him a day before he died to 'Let go' really had me in tears:sad: :sad:
At least she has some frozen sperm if she ever wanted to have another kid with him:)

Why do the good die young eh?
