PG is a true Brentford legend and has always been very helpful in my dealings with the club.
Deserves a bit more respect then you are showing.

I've built a mental image in my mind of this scenario and in this movie in my mind, I play the part of Peter Gilham. The scene in my head is largely based on assumption (which is perhaps a tad unfair) and largely on intuition. I don't want to tell you how it ends in case it ever becomes a real movie - I don't want to spoil it for everybody.

How have you managed to type this whilst wearing a straight jacket or have you escaped ?
I can assure you that Pete pays the full whack for the coach and the coaches we use have not had tables for about 8 years.

Yes he sometimes gets comps but I have even known him give all the comps
away and pay to get in himself.

Its up to you like or dont like but dont make statements that arent true.

PG embodies everything that is good about Brentford FC and sports fans anywhere. He never ceases to amaze with his ceaseless dedication to the club, for which he never seeks personal attention.

If he deems that a person or persons should not cadge a lift on an away travel return coach, which - by the way - are not organised by BFC but by the Brentford Supporters' Association, then I, for one, would back his judgement.

"Give us a bee" is PG showing his passion for Brentford, cant knock him for that. I love it when he does it. It only happens for the big games and i cant imagine them without it. No big game is complete without PG giving us a B before kick off. I think the work he has done over the years entitles him to walk around as if he owns the place (even though i dont think he does walk around like he owns the place). Gettin free travel (if he does) is a perk of the job. Christ some of the numpties he has had to work for and with over the years and some of the performances he has had to watch i think he more than deserves a free ticket. PG is a legend and Brentford FC would have fallen apart many a year ago had it not been for him.

I wonder if you are the tw@ that threw whatever it was at Millwall???? PG probably saw that the 3 trying to get on the coach where probably giving it large to Millwall whilst in the comfort of the Bees stand and at 90 minutes realised they have to pass these lot to get the train. Then they have sh*t themselves and asked to go in the comfort of the coach behind tinted windows. Fair play to PG he probably realised thay were trouble and told them to sod off. I can assure you if it was anyone that he recognised or saw that they wernt being pr1cks i would imagine he wouldnt have had a problem.

Peter Gilham is a legend. he is kind, funny, glamourous & brentford, what more do you want from a man. :box:

Just to let you all know that the interview with PG will be broadcast again during the Christmas period as it can't go up as a podcast owing to licensing laws. Once I have dates and times of the repeats, I'll put them up on here.

I think Peter Gilham deserves all the accolades he gets.No one could attempt to do what he has done over the years.I also think his wife Adrienne deserves a lot of credit for what she does at the club,probably under peters instructions, but it is his wife i suppose.While i am patting these two on the back you have to give credit to their mate Derek Hazel.A top man within the club.MBE's for all 3

It is possible to edit out the songs for the podcast.
Mr. Iain Lee's show on Absolute radio are available on itunes with the songs cut out.
Can't be that tricky, can it? :shrug:

It isn't difficult at all. If they sent me the show I could have the songs edited out and the rest of the show on Youtube in half an hour :shrug:.
