He was a class act as a player. Rare for such a talent to play so few games for his country, but that's mainly because the big boys didn't invite him onto the big stage until far too late.

If that's the case, he certainly spends a lot of time in west London, possibly for Sky TV commitments. He's no stranger to Hanworth Villa games, and I seem to recall Whitton Athletic, of the Chiswick & District Sunday League, tried to sign him up when they had Paul Merson playing for them.
