Phase 2 Points Predictions
Why exclude 0 though, we could still get 0, no?From winning. And because it's impossible to get -1 or 8 points from the remaining 3 games.

There I was thinking we got a point last weekendWhy exclude 0 though, we could still get 0, no?
We can still get 0 or 9 from these 4 matches though? From winning. And because it's impossible to get -1 or 8 points from the remaining 3 games.
I think your illness affected your concentration too! There I was thinking we got a point last weekend
So those on 8, 10 and 12 points are excluded...
Glad I was a bit wrong tooWolves have lost 3 out of 4.
We are unbeaten away.
Early kick off so we’ll outsing them.
Wolves 0 - 2 Brentford
Mbeumo 61, 67.
The Brighton defeat is such a shame given how close we came to a result.I think we need six points ideally. Simplest way;
- a win at home vs Brighton
- a win in either away game, vs Wolves or vs West Ham
Liverpool game is the “biggest” game in terms of occasion on the list but it’s Also the one we can’t really expect anything from, so the most important fixtures are the others.
Just shows the task that is at hand, I don’t have us favourites for any of these matches but we have to find a way.
We've just taken a point off of Liverpool, the league leaders, we should fear no one.The Brighton defeat is such a shame given how close we came to a result.
The results we’ve got from Wolves and Liverpool is a phenomenal effort. But logically you’d rather win the Brighton game and lose to Liverpool, because we’d be two points better off and right on track.
A result vs West Ham (A) is now more important and would take us to 5-7 points for this period of games, which would make up for the Brighton defeat. But a very tough ask again. Just shows how relentless this league is and how we must not get carried away.
Fulham won at Anfield last season. We should fear no one. But also keep our feet on the ground! We've just taken a point off of Liverpool, the league leaders, we should fear no one.
Everyone won at Anfield last season tbf, we've just taken a point off a much better Liverpool team.Fulham won at Anfield last season. We should fear no one. But also keep our feet on the ground!
Last season they had such a bad injury crisis they bought some clogger CB from Preston in a January panic.Everyone won at Anfield last season tbf, we've just taken a point off a much better Liverpool team.
Hear what you say but there is nothing logical about football. Also you should not underestimate Brighton or anyone else in this league. Brighton could be the surprise team (as well as us) this season. We have just taken a point from a very good Liverpool team, nothing to fear from anyone else. The Brighton defeat is such a shame given how close we came to a result.

You are right, I don’t underestimate anyone. In my original post I mention that we were not favourites to win any of the games in this run.Hear what you say but there is nothing logical about football. I get what you mean, but I’m sure Thomas would argue that the belief the players will draw from the Liverpool game will be much more important over the season than 2 extra points now. (Not that both wouldn’t have been ideal!)The Brighton defeat is such a shame given how close we came to a result.

I think psychologically the draw might have been better than a win. If we’d won there’d be a risk of getting overconfident whereas the draw was proof we could compete but tempered with the knowledge that we could still have easily lost despite an excellent 95 minute performance.I get what you mean, but I’m sure Thomas would argue that the belief the players will draw from the Liverpool game will be much more important over the season than 2 extra points now. Could be, but that’s proving my point, it places greater importance on future games.I get what you mean, but I’m sure Thomas would argue that the belief the players will draw from the Liverpool game will be much more important over the season than 2 extra points now. This.we must not get carried away.
?I went for 7, be surprised if we don't lose one but feeling confident it won't be against Liverpool
I'm still going in to games fearing that our trashing is coming soon.Thought 5 with a win and two draws.
7 points is beyond fantastic.
I need to be more bold with my points predictions in the next phase of games
I'm still going in to games fearing that our trashing is coming soon. Was this with Wolves away, Liverpool at home and Wet Spam away.
Obviously I need to develop a backbone.![]()
Well done @aslanI went for 7, be surprised if we don't lose one but feeling confident it won't be against Liverpool
