It's good to see darts in the ascendancy again.. It was lacking a few characters since the glory days of Jockey Wilson, Crafty Cockney etc etc.. Also Barry Hearn who has many fingers in many pies said recentley that sponsers are queing up to sign up in darts. All good news.

A great final, Taylor was bullied for the first time in donks but he broke Whitlock's heart after a right ding dong. Superb scoring, amazing finshes and a lot closer than 7-3 suggests IMO. PT outscored him, SW out-doubled him and then they both just went for it, when Taylor hits under 140 it seems that the other player thinks he has a chance to pounce on his mistake. The pressure of keeping up with PT finally got him but he made a right go of it, brilliant final.
