Play off Dates

If we end up in the play offs does anyone know what the semi final dates will be please? I have looked at the EFL site but I can only get the play off final dates.

Pretty sure they don't fix them until they know who is playing and what TV want to do. I have a week away booked in May - back for the final, otherwise I'll have to take my chances.
Hoping for top two though!

Likely to be the Friday/Saturday after the season ends and then the following Wednesday/Thursday (I think)

I don'y have specific dates as these have obviously not been set but from previous seasons I believe the first legs are usually played over the first weekend after the regular season has finished, in which case Friday 8th, Sat 9th and Sunday 10th May. The second legs are then usually the following mid week so I would guess the Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th or Thursday 14th.

The Championship final is definitely Monday 25th May, so that would give around 11-13 days for the Play Off final tickets to be sold.

BUT

This year the Friday after the season ends is a BANK Holiday

So Sky could have BOTH the first legs back to back on the Friday

With the 2nd legs the midweek following

Don't forget also that League Two is a week earlier so their 1st legs can take place earlier


Also UEFA matches are on Tues 5th Weds 6th Thurs 7th May

This is what happened the only other time the finals were split; These are DATES FROM SEASON 2016/2017

Sky Bet Championship

Sat 13 May: Championship Semi-Final A first leg (5:30pm)
Sun 14 May: Championship Semi-Final B first leg (12:00pm)

Tues 16 May: Championship Semi-Final A second leg (7:45pm)
Wed 17 May: Championship Semi-Final B second leg (7:45pm)

Mon 29th May: Championship Play-Off Final (3:00pm)

Sky Bet League One

Thur 4 May: League One Semi-Finals A & B first legs (7:45pm)
Sun 7 May: League One Semi-Finals A & B second legs (6:30pm)

Sat 20 May: League One Play-Off Final (3:00pm)

Sky Bet League Two

Sun 14 May: League Two Semi-Finals A & B first legs (6:30pm)
Thurs 18 May: League Two Semi-Finals A & B second legs (7:45pm)

Sun 28 May: League Two Play-Off Final (3:00pm)

So the 2nd leg may not be until Thurs May 14th

Although the EFL likes to have as long as possible to sell all the Wembley tickets so I think
Friday and Monday could be an option ??

I really hope so as my Mrs told me a fortnight ago , I’ve just booked our holiday , may 14 until may 24th. Quickly checked the date and back just in time for the final .

I agree but would say that the likelihood (perhaps 60%, with 15% probability of auto promotion, 25% 7th or below) that the last first team game at GP will be a play-off semi-final

It was the club's choice to use that ticketing company, good job we now have a SaaS powered superior ticketing system to cope with high demand. :looks:
