On my final warning
Player contracts
June 30 2010 (hopefully longer!)

This is presumption. Long term could mean the end of next season.

But as we have paid a fee for the player
That is also a presumption

Why would they bother saying 'undisclosed fee' if there wasnt one??![]()

Where are these new signings.
Feb 29th 2008 (?)
Parkes
Stone
Sankofa
The loan players will be a month from when we signed them.
So Parkes Feb 17, Stone Feb 18, Sankofa Feb 21.
Unless markbfc knows better
Rule 1 of middle management: Don't poke around too much, you might find things you don't like.Would be interesting to know if the playing budget has now been increased from the original figure at the start of the year. I cannot see how with the players that have left most of who would have received some sort of payout and the new players signed that we are still under budget! So do we assume that the budget has been increased!

The budget has not been increased and all of the "ins and outs" have been achieved within the budget inherited by AS upon the departure of TB.
Which is power to Andy's elbow. There was some serious wheeling and dealing done in January and I think it's obvious to say the squad is far stronger than the one on December 10.
He has managed a very difficult and demanding January transfer window without an assistant manager and he has my admiration and total respect.
.
The latest issue of TITS revealed that Andy was asked if he wanted an Assistant but chose to use the salary to put towards new players instead. Is this true?
I assumed it was 28 days but could be wrong.

It took you 19 days to check that out![]()

No news on Stone's extension that I have heard.

The copyright is with Peter Gill, Holly Johnson & Mark O'Toole...abee, I'm sure you would like the correction, just to keep it legal-like!
How's that for pedantry!

To think what Andy's achieve both in terms of on the pitch and the way he's developed the squad - it's nothing short of phenomenal. I'd love to see the current squad in League 1 - I don't think we'd have any worries.![]()
My sole objection to this is that it was posted outside normal working hours. Sort it out!The copyright is with Peter Gill, Holly Johnson & Mark O'Toole...abee, I'm sure you would like the correction, just to keep it legal-like!

Now can you see to it that those New Road bogs are given a bloody good jetwash?
BeeH was talking to me about this on the way to Barnet. He had seen the suggestion to have them jetwashed and was gonna look into it. His own view was that if we kept the jetwash for a match day then that would avoid the necessity to have toilet paper and we could just hose people down as they come out of the bogs. I'm not sure about that one exactly but no doubt we shall read about it in a forthcoming proggy.

Methinks you're getting a little carried away there! Just look at the way Barnet tore us apart at times last night. League One teams wouldnt be so forgiving. We're heading in the right direction but there's a hell of a long way to go before we can be competitive in League One, lets not try to run before we can walk!
It is a pleasure to deal with him and Ian Jones. AS has all of the numbers at his fingertips and knows to within the penny where the playing budget has gone. He was also well aware and understood that it was a question of players leaving before replacements were signed. At no time was the playing budget exceeded even for a short time on a "bridging" basis and never did he ask if he could sign so and so and he was sure that if he could such and such could be shipped out "next week". He understands the financial realities of life at League Two level. He has managed a very difficult and demanding January transfer window without an assistant manager and he has my admiration and total respect.
Two months ago the Team Manager had gone, the CEO followed him out of the door, two directors had stepped down from the BFC board and Bees United had a new chairman. There had also been recent demonstrations in the Braemar Road forecourt at the way the club was beng run and particularly at the results and the method of play on the field. The upheaval and changes (which this writer regarded as essential) could have been a total disaster and that we not only survived but prospered is due in no small part to AS stepping up to the plate and making the decision regarding the Team Manager a straightforward one but also David Heath and Ian Jones putting in long and unpaid hours for the benefit of the club. The staff at GP also deserve the thanks of supporters for getting on with the job at what must have been a very difficult time.
Now back to those cold hamburgers..........![]()
Advertise it as colonic irrigation and make a few quid for the club
