A few may be taken out of the firing line up imho and have to be injured to ensure the wrath of the Football League are not on the clubs back when fielding weakened teams.

It will be a shame if we've ruined our chances over this but I think we can do better for cheaper

He is woeful...and by all accounts has been woeful at AFC Wimbledon.

I would even prefer Brooker, on the basis that he has hit the post this season, and we are lumbered with him next season.

For all his failings, Brooker is a far better player than Rhodes or Peters will ever be. We know he can't tackle and frequently hides. However, he is one of the few players we have who can beat defenders, open up the play and deliver quality crosses.

IMHO Rhodes and Peters careers in league football are probably finished due to, primarily, injury and attitude respectively.
