Also two goalkeepers in Paul Gallacher from Norwich and Paul Gerrard from Forest.

Are they not worth looking at signing?

Lloydie came back, and he is loved by many, but he isn't the Lloyd that was here with BBB.

He has injuries and a crap playing set up that didn't bring out the best in him. As a result, some are disillusioned with him.

Never go back. Stay a hero, you are very lucky if you can do it twice.

Paul Gerrard was the worst keeper I have ever seen when he played at GP last season....for a keeper once signed for £2million..... you'd think he'd be able to get a goal kick to stay on the pitch!!

His kicking has improved though and I guess it would do as well considering Bankole is not at GP anymore. Bankole hinself could not kick... how was he going to help Nelson out!!!

I thought that Leroy said that was kicking the ball as far as he can was pretty much all Nelson practised last year.

Really?? That's disgraceful for supposedly professional coaching..

Reminds me of the story about Billy Manuel (i think it was him) who came to us from Spurs under Phil Holder and who in his first training session with us was given a ball and told to "see how far you can kick it..." !!

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but a Forest fan told me that Paul Gerrard was the highest paid player in league 1 last year, which is why they released him.

Nelson is there to make saves, im not too bothered whether he can kick it or not which in any case he has greatly improved his kicking and he can do it very well and its very boring to hear people like you say he cant kick it when obviously he can.egit.

The problem with his kicking was he was being asked to kick it as far as possible and to the wings. To get that kind of distance you're going to lose some control of the direction so it often went straight out. This was what he was asked to do by Allen and what Bankole teached him to do.

Hopefully STannard can get back to basics with him.

Pehaps Nelson feels that imitation may lead to a £2 million transfer for himself...in which case keep trying to hit row Z my son...we need the money!!
