just been checking out some details re a night out in devon.
s.w. trains do an apex return from waterloo for £20.70
£5 each way for a 1`st class upgrade

probably cheaper than booking from further down.

4* star hotel £33. per person

any other takers?

i`d like my own carriage. served a nice fry-up by basingstoke.
by winchester i`d prefer bloody marys bought to me by semi-naked wenches.
once we`re out of hampshire, stella would be freely available and a sexual service should be served by a gorgeous stewardess.

can you sort that ?

I'm not ****in staying down there again, my hotel was really cold last time & there were bars on the windows :(

Don't even know if I should go to this as thoughts of arson keep creeping into my head every time I think of the **** who got me banged up.

Your hotel was a damm site warmer than mine, which didn't have windows or doors, had a seat and a few bus timetables tho
lol

I will book us the same room we paid £17 each (which worked out at £1 per minute) for the time we spent in therelol

Group tickets available for this one.

Supersaver Group 4 available on GWR for £23 each.

We're on the 9.00 from Reading arriving at 12.15, trains back are a bit of a pain. There's one at 5.15 ish but that might be a bit close so the next direct one is at around 6.40.

Good news is that the ticket is flexible, you can book reservations but you don't have to get that train. Also means there should in theory be no limit on the amount of group tickets available.

Hope to see plenty there.

balderdash. i`ve just checked the timetable.
from basingstoke to plymouth varies between 4 hrs and 3 1/2hrs,depending if you have to change.

for instance, leave basingstoke at 09.24
arrive plymouth at 12.56. (bit late admittedly, but you can shant on the train.)

for the early birds, there`s a train leaves at around 07.20 gets in 4 hrs later with 1 change.

add 1 hr to get to waterloo for all you cockney scum.:D

Do you have any idea of the nutters you could upset by putting filth like this on the grapevine. I suggest you apologise for this post if you value your life.

Truly shocking :nono:

Does anyone else need ticket for Paddington - Plymouth - to go 1st thing (i.e. 7 something) on the Saturday morning and come back late morning on the Sunday. Cheapest ticket each for 2 of us is £42 each but would be £31 each for 3!!

Let me know asap please as want to sort this today!
