Possibly our most "glamorous" signing ever.

Not the best player from the league below, not a highly promising youngster, not a person who looks great on You Tube, but an experienced tough player with huge pedigree who was widely considered as the best central defender in the Championship last season, and one who would improve EVERY team in the division.

He's ours. He's a Bee.

He doesn't look entirely comfortable in the signing picture. Doesn't look quite right in a Bees shirt. He does realise that he hasn't signed for the one time Champions of Europe, right? I hope he's not just signing for the money.

Well that’s taken the Bees up a step or two. Incredible. Always nice to have a real “sh*t” in your XI. Let’s hope these signings -more to come I’m sure - change the minds of those looking to move on.... what a season we could have in store.... :)

Interesting in the statement that it is described as an opportunistic signing and that he hadn’t been tracked for any significant period.

Nothing should surprise us any more but demonstrates agility / flexibility in the transfer dealings as well as uncovering little known talent.

Looking forward to him achieving cult (and an “n” for the “l” when it comes to opposition fans) status with us.

Not meaning to piss on the general fire or anything, but this is a departure from our normal MO. Big money, presumably big wages, and little due diligence. Hopefully, that's because signing him is a no brainer.

Well well well, Happy to say that this is a statement signing. Couldnt stand the bloke at Leeds and havent rated him when ever ive seen him play. but fair play to MB and the DOF.

If he is what takes us to the next level then im all in.
