The likes of Mousinho, Charles, Ide & Osborne have had far more first team exposure than might ideally have been expected or wanted this season.

Whatever the repercussions of their being thrown in the deep end this season, playing so many 1st team games should stand them in good stead for the future.

If they prove able to swim rather than sink at Div 2 level next year, the experience gained this year at a higher level will undoubtedly have been a big factor.

You mean it is not subject to wind direction, the Giant Panda population doubling within the next two weeks and Edmundo standing as Conservative MP for Camden at the next general election.?

That's not a positive post!! That's a clutching at straws post!! :D

On a positive note, Butcher doesnt appear to be the sort of manager who'd rely heavily on youngsters who just arent up to it.. :sorted:

I'll have you know that Oliver Letwin once asked me to stand for the Conservative Party. It's a long story why, and he was a humble assistant to Angela Rumbold at the time (about 1988), but it was very funny! Well, made me laugh, anyway.

I'm very positive about the coming season. Team is looking great so far given the limited resources, and it's nice to have a slatts-free thread ;) :fishing:
