Obviously it's a bit ridiculous to not want to grow our fanbase. But most of us traditional fans want to see fans become diehards, not part-timers. The biggest thing that grates on long-established fans are the ones who are on the bandwagon, who will stop supporting us just because we're not doing well. They're the ones who you might overhear in a pub going on about Brentford, when in actual fact they know naff all about us. It'll happen, the more successful we are, but stop being successful and you won't see them for dust. I get it, that it's part of becoming more far-reaching than before, but it don't half grate on me.
