Unless their accounts show their Covid losses don’t account for breaching the rule?No chance. They will just say "Covid 19" three times and it will all go away.
No, the EFL will start a new round of financial fair play. Any sanction will be held until they return to the Premier leagueAs I understand it it's the losses in the as yet unpublished accounts for the last financial yr (rumoured to be +£100M btw) that will tip them over the precipice of FFP.
If that happens and they get relegated they are presumably staring at a big pts deduction by the EFL before the start of next season.
No, read the headline if nothing else! They’re £155m over the allowed losses even before 20-21. So they’d need to be recording a huge profit last season to get back under the threshold. Which is unlikely. As I understand it it's the losses in the as yet unpublished accounts for the last financial yr (rumoured losses of +£100M btw) that will tip them over the precipice of FFP.

It might be a strategic decision not to be in hock to the council.According to the BBC, Everton have so much money, that they will not be taking up the offer of a £30 million loan from the local council for their new stadium (rumoured to be a £500 million project), having found alternative forms of funding. Something not quite right here.
They probably don't need the cash. Stadium development is outside of profit and sustainability - their problems is they have overspent on playing staff and failed to get increasing revenues through the routes of getting Champions League football or conjuring spurious sponsorship deals with airlines their owners also own.It might be a strategic decision not to be in hock to the council.
Hopefully we'll be "home and dry" by then so will have 2 x great days out relegating a top tier stalwart and the perennial champions of EuropeOur last two games of the season are building up to be epic ones.
I think they have a Russian backer so could be in trouble now.According to the BBC, Everton have so much money, that they will not be taking up the offer of a £30 million loan from the local council for their new stadium (rumoured to be a £500 million project), having found alternative forms of funding. Given their recent dealings in the transfer market a ban would probably do them a favour! They will play the loss of income due to Covid card and probably get away with it. Points deduction this or next season is probably unlikely but may see them have a transfer embargo.
Not if they are relegated, as the EPL rules won’t apply.Would be next season if happens at all imo.
