2-2 (Wissa, KLP)

But I think this literally could go either way. Should be a decent game

After Toffees’ display last night I’ve downgraded to a score draw.

I didn’t watch their game against Liverpool last night but it was an impressive result which will have given them a confidence boost for Saturday. On the other hand, it may well have knackered them. Summing it all up, I haven’t a clue.

1-2 Bees?

I watched last night , they played with aggression and passion . The derby no doubt a factor .We need to ready to repel their aerial threat from jug ears and Calvert Lewin .Doucoure and McNeil a threat on the ground . Harrison is capable of a good ball into the box

Liverpool fell into Everton’s trap. Low block, plus super direct counter attacks.
But their schedule (sun, weds, sat) is pretty intense. It should be a chaotic game. We MUST avoid giving away free kicks, corners, etc. that’s their top scoring method.

I’d say nobody can really predict this game. The fans and players could be tired. Or elated.

we have so much better first team and subs now. Their squad depth a bit thinner.
Could it be a score draw till the subs, then, a crazy Brentford goal wins it?

They will be up for a battle as that’s the only plan they have and play in their usual 4411 formation. Their defence is reasonably solid with Tarkowski (who always does well against physical centre forwards - e.g. Ivan) and Branthwaite who has improved a lot since his sending off against Ivan with decent fullbacks, although it looks like both Coleman & Mykolenko will be out which only leaves Godfrey & Young, and the midfield will be probably just like the Liverpool game with x2 wide men (McNeill & Harrison) and probably mix ‘n match the other two from Gueye/Garner/Onana/Gomes and Doucoure & Calvert-Lewis up front. Whether that team can put on a repeat performance with the same intensity remains to be seen, but hopefully Thomas watched the game last night and might now re-jig his tactics as we will be up against a buoyant Everton team in, probably, a pretty intense atmosphere in the stadium.

I can see Thomas playing Ivan alongside Bryan and Wissa and go with the Danish trio in midfield and the same defence as last Saturday. And if it’s not working we can bring on Vitaly and KLP and Schade to put more pressure on their defence. We do need to have to ball to get the attacking players in the game so we need to move the ball quickly when in possession, something Liverpool failed to do last night.

They have had their two cup finals this week, are basically safe so i reckon the all new, firing on all cylinders Bees will take them apart.
3-1.
Wissa, Mbeumo, Reguilon

I know Liverpool were sh1te last night but we'll have to be on our top game sat evening.
I thought Everton looked really good.
Hopefully they'll be knackered and have a few niggles. I'll be happy with a draw tho.

Tarkie gives his marker a little nudge everytine he jumps for the header and its rarely picked up by refs. Harry Kane does the same. Oh and points shared 2.2.

Gone for a big win. Play our shorties, up front, no high crosses. We'll turn them inside out

In Edinburgh for brother's Stag for this, find a pub to watch this, 2-2 draw for me.

0-0. Viewers complain that it was worse than spending Saturday evening watching Michael McIntyre.

I've no idea what the score will be. I'm just so upset Neal can't play. How much fun would that be?

Everton have taken 11 points from their last 6 home games. Very much not to be underestimated up there.

Listening to a couple of podcasts, the annoying thing is that they haven't realised how safe they are now so won't have left for the beach yet.

Still confident: 3-0.

Sorry to be the doomsayer, but I don't see us getting a result here. 1-0.

It will be after the Lord Mayor's show for Everton. Sticking to my earlier prediction with a 3-0 win for the boys from West London.

Went for a Bees win, but would seem a certain draw, a result that would benefit both teams.

Later kick off to the Luton game could have an impact. On the basis they lose, Everton only need a draw and so will concentrate on not losing. A Luton win could spark something in them perhaps

Close match, but we’ll come away with at least a point In a score draw.
But my heart says 2-1 to Buzzing Bees!?⚽️?

Bearing in mind that both Luton and Forest both still have to play Man City, it is statistically remote in the extreme that both of them would take 3 points each off City. So one or both of them cannot catch us.
Plus we would have to take zero points from 4 games, just to allow the merest smallest most unlikely chance for either.

It’ll all be definitely another wonderful PL season for us, whatever happens today.

Therefore, instead of looking over our shoulder at anyone below us, we need to just focus on playing quality football, rather than desperation football.

So just a repeat of recent games!

Luton don’t play Man City. Wolves, Everton, West Ham, Fulham.

Predictions v Everton (A)

1. They’re safe
2. Huge emotional win midweek
3. They aren’t very good
4. Ivan needs a statement match to get on the Euro plane

Bees 4. 0 Toffees
Toney hattrick

Predictions v Everton (A)

4-2 Bees.

Competitive and attacking first half.

They run out of steam and out subs run the legs out of them and score 2 second half goals.

Mbeumo, Norgaard, Wissa, Schade.
