'If' and I so hate that word, but if we go up to the Premiership, what you going to do about it ?
The thought of such a thing, just a year back would be ludicrous, but it's a distinct possibility as of now !
So, how you going to celebrate it ?

Also, if it happens, I guess the last ever 1st team game could be Wigan this season ?

Premiership

Get saving now. £40-50 for an away ticket every other week.

Premiership

Do not tempt fate.

Enjoy the ride enjoy the football and see what happens in a month and then at the end of January.

Premiership

I want to be in the prem , little Brentford in the big time , but I don't want out club turning into a soulless one like most prem clubs

Premiership

Lets just enjoy the ride and see where it takes us. Its only dec, lets see where we are come Jan-feb

You look at what how the club is being run at the moment and there's no chance of that. Clubs like Swansea who you can run a "little" club in the right way and still be a success in the premiership. Long way to go but after years of worrying, there's no harm in everyone dreaming of going up.

Premiership

one season there would be enough for me.....and winning the league cup or fa cup for a season in europe the following season......that would be just fine ;)

Premiership

A bit disappointed with the responses so far ... Was hoping to have someone on here say, they were building a rocket in their backyard to send up to space, but nothing like that so far :-)

What sport team would you follow after that

Premiership

I'll certainly celebrate with the biggest firework display I can afford and set off the biggest rocket I can find with red and white colours and the loudest bang to proudly announce to the northern skies, that Brentford's back to pre-war fame and the top flight where she belongs.

Premiership

One season would be great, relegation with the parachute payments, go back season after stronger and able to compete financially with the other teams around us.

Premiership

Ill admit, I'm setting myself up for a fall.

Just picturing ourselves at OT, Anfield etc. Keep up the great work bees

what does your last sentence mean?! how has noone else noticed this?!

if we did go up, i just can't imagine i would do. i was absolutely beaming in the pub last Friday!! seeing us somehow win the playoff final (or confirm promotion on the last day), there is no doubt i would be excessively inebriated by the end of the day... and for the rest of the week....

Premiership

I think we need to continue with the spectacle of this season, milk it for all we can and hope we can strengthen in January; whatever happens next is over the horizon.

We go up, we ground share and no more Griffin Park, ever, from Wigan game next May

Premiership

yes, but you didn't write that! and anyway i thought the stuff from earlier this week was saying that Plan A is to stay at Griffin Park... so let's just put it down as wild speculation and deal with it later, yeah?

Of course, hence the question mark that was quoted

I bad mouth premiershite so much that unfortunately it would make me a big hypocrite to then watch the bees play there. However, I can reconcile it if I only go to matches and not watch it on SKY and if I do have to read the back page of the paper I will wash my hands after.

Ha, "SuperPosh7" consistently thinks we will struggle. Struggle to get to the Champ, struggle to stay in the Champ, and now struggle in the Prem. Give it 5 years and he'll have another tweet along the lines of "If little old Brentford really think they will have a chance of retaining their Champions League crown then they are seriously deluded". Perhaps followed by "looking forward to stuffing Nuneaton this weekend, Posh are too big for the Conference #walkingit", whilst struggling to cling onto a play-off place.

As somebody who stated in front of a full Pub that I was proud never to have been to a PL game and never would go to one this potentially gives me an issue.........................

16 points to safety ;-)

Recant.

Indeed. Whilst I daren't even dream of it yet (it's still a long shot)....I'd love it. I'd renew the season ticket and happily pay the away prices too. In full expectation of seeing us lose almost every time but celebrating a draw like a win and a victory like a promotion. Then if, as expected we went down, we reap the benefits of the ludicrous premiership parachute payments and put our club on a stronger footing for years to come. It's nice even to just be discussing it! ;)

Premiership

There is nothjng wrong with watching live Premiership football...the problem is the mass of armchair fans who renew their subscriptions every year which drives up TV revenue for clubs which drives up the salaries they can pay players, that then gets supplemented by fans then paying more to carry on their ambition and greed. (I am a Sky Sports subscriber btw, so I also play my part...)

The fans who go to the games aren't the biggest problem so don't feel guilty about going. Especially when it's your team. :)

This thread for all my life would be ridiculous. If the miracle continues and we did get to the promised land, should we not have a great start I would like like the first person who says MW out is banned from this site for life!!! ;-)

Premiership

I never thought we'd ever get there in my life time personally. But then the season began and now I'm daring to think we might just do it. If we do and it's this season I hope we keep the eleven that got there (plus one or two extras), pocket the cash and see where it gets us 'you got us promoted, have fun'. If we go straight back down, no probs. We'd get parachute payments which we can use to rebuild/pump into academy/pay for LR with bells on for a second attack by which time we'll be fully prepared to get there and stay there :sorted:

Premiership

If we went up and ground shared, presumably we would have to keep Griffin Park ticking over in case we went down the following season as Lionel Road not ready until 17/18 ? Another factor to consider.

You've got all the staff that are there during the week to house somewhere so I'd imagine GP would stay maintained as you'd never squeeze two clubs' teams in the one ground surely? Maybe GP could be used for the academy fixtures in the meantime perhaps?

Premiership

On my way back from the Palace-Villa game. On current form I have absolutely no doubt we would tear them both apart.

Premiership

This is such a dilemma as the premiership often displays very well all that is wrong with modern football... but obviously i want us to do it! would be magical scenes..

But it absolutely must be at GP (or Lionel Road), I can't imagine anything else! GP is key, just look at our home record. We've only lost 7 out of the last 56 league games at home (since the start of the 2012 season)....

I went into this season anticipating I'd celebrate a draw like a win. Now look where we are!

I remember a few years ago Holloway (with Blackpool I think) saying to interviewers "we're just here for the ride"!

..................get a new suit made...............

New Dress Code for Brentford Supporters

As a result of unprecedented demand for match tickets for the 2015/16 season, the Board of Directors of Brentford Football Club announce the new dress code for all Premier League home games shall be "black tie" events. Gentlemen shall be required to wear dinner suits and ladies shall be required to wear skimpy off-the-shoulder cocktail numbers with those naughty high heels... oops
