I have had a couple of emails saying I have had new PMs (Friday), but on opening the PM folder there aren't any.
I've tried refreshing, and it doesn't do anything. Can PMs be called back by the senders?

Depending on your ISP the e-mail alert can turn up ages after the PM. This happened to me, but with paranoia setting in, I realised that I had already read the PM's to which I was being alerted.

If you have NO PM's and are getting alerts, then Banana, this ones over to you.

I think that's what it might be, but can't be sure now as I permanently deleted the alert from my email account.

If anyone's sent me a PM in the last couple of days and I haven't/don't respond then please email me!

Bit pointless turning off automatic emails and asking for manual ones isn't it?

you see this is what confuses me... SOMETIMES it does pop-up and other times it doesnt... and obviously i dont change my option thingy... i was only commenting in case it was a global problem that you may not be aware of, but as no one else seems to suffer from it, i guess its just me..

I don't use AOL. Am on BT Broadband at home and God knows what at work but don't have problems with any other sites!
