0ne of my customers has a box there and invited me and a few to be his guests for the day
Thing is i'd much rather be behind the goal . Have to work out a way of declining the offer without causing offence!

My company used to have a box at Reading as our main UK HQ was just across the road. I think they've demolished it now after we moved out.
Anyway, used to get into the box sometimes if the big wigs weren't using it. Sometimes for the football, other times for the rugby (the catering at the rugby was far better). Until an unfortunate incident about 10 years ago when for some reason I agreed to go to a Reading - Watford evening game straight from work by some colleagues. Was well oiled before we got into the box and things got progressively worse as the box was quite close to the away seating and all the booze was free. Suffice to say I was eventually asked to remain inside the box and to not direct any further abuse towards the Watford supporters. They obviously thought I was a Reading fan and went banana's when I made it quite clear who my team was.
Funny, but for some reason I was never invited back. rofl
Got this pencilled in as our second biggest following of the year. How many do people reckon we'll take? I reckon similar to MK away last year.

If on Waterloo train, get off at Wokingham and go in the Molly Millard, bit of a Chelsea pub but lots of TV and pool tables, then just back on train and free bus to MadStad.
I do hope I'm not working on this day...

You are the man for Reading pubs i reckon .

Pubs in the town centre used to be very lively on Brentford match days when you could walk up Oxford Road to the ground, Spiderbee will remember most of them! What was the underground one right opposite the station? I bet that is not there anymore!
In four days time it will be exactly 11 years to the day I met my now wife in that pub. An Australian dive called club Mankoo a couple of years back not sure if it was same name then but same pub. We were on way back from swindon away fyi
