What's the story about QPR tickets? When or are they going on general sale? Otherwise, how are we eligible to get tickets if not a member or season-ticket holder?

If there is to be no general sale then how many do the club think they will actually sell? I know that members/season ticket holders/lifeline members can buy more than four because I've done so already but I do hope there are no embarrasing empty spaces, or perhaps that big tarpaulin could be stretched even wider?

Yes, but it's not unexpected that this game doesn't go on general sale, is it? Did it last year? There are plenty of ways for genuine Bees fans to be in a position to get tickets for this game. Membership of the club or Bees United, asking friends, possibly even subscription to Bees World (not sure about that one). I'm sure you can find a way - it's what we do with the QPR fans who manage to get tickets for home areas that I'm more concerned about. And there will be some, there is no doubt about that - and if they can, surely you can too?Castle said:

You can't afford £5 a year (student rate) if it will ensure getting tickets for games like the QPRse match, as well as becoming a major part of the future of this football club through BU membership?

well, get someone whos in BU or season ticket holder TO GET YOU ONE..........its not exactly difficult...........thats what i did
anyway, the main point is that Rangers SHOULD have been given more tickets......you could give them the braemar seats next to the away bit and half the paddock below.........why has this not happened???

that would be around 1,000 extra, which would keep everyone happy, when anyone ITK knows that they will get tickets in the home bits whether we want them to or not........and thats without our managers help

I'm a student too so I know all about having no money to spend, but if you think about it, all it takes is to put 10p aside every week and you've saved enough for memebership over the year. It's not much to part with, and well worth it.

well me and my mates arent season tickets holders, BFC members, lifeline members (if it still exist) or BU members but we got 30ish tickets between us!

The point beingf that Rangers could probably sell between four and five thousand tickets for this.
For "security " reasons and the fact that you don't want to be outnumbered you have not made any more than 2,800 available

We got 2800+ tickets, sold them all in 4 days.
What's the problem Wiltshire Bee? We sold to ST holders first, and with it being a local derby, could probably have sold that number a few times over.
And it's not about being outnumbered - it's a sensible decision by a club that has principles. We asked for more tickets and BFC declined to give them to us - fair enough. We ran a postal system for people to get them - 1st come 1st served. Fairest way for all.
I applaud BFC for not giving us more than the usual allocation for away fans at your place. It'd only feed the egos of the VERY few fans we have who think we're big, and would be a major disservice to BFC's fans.
My only hope is that the police and stewards are prepared to remove fans from the ground if they are in the wrong end. It's been made quite clear that you have to be a BFC fan to be in a BFC stand - to enter the ground otherwise would be an offence and expect to be ejected.

It's been made clear - if you're not a BFC fan, don't go in a BFC stand. To do so is in breach of regulations and BFC are entitled to remove you.
I was at Cambridge a couple of years ago - 1200 of us on a terrace designed for 1000. I had my young son with me and it looked unsafe. If QPR fans are in the wrong place, there will be no room for them on the terrace, so the safest option is to eject them.

I've thought about this, And i don't think the stewards will eject any QPR supporters from the ground for sitting in the wrong seats. I think they'll do what they did last year and put them in an overflow area. The reason? simple, Do Brentford want 200 angry away fans outside the ground while the game is going on.
(remember Cardiff).
I just plead with rangers fans. Don't spoil my day, if you've got a ticket in our end and you score, keep your head down and be quiet. Till you leave the ground.

I'm sure we've had this debate on here before 
If giving QPR more tickets is a sensible idea didn't we work out the way to do it was to provide the parts of the Braemar between the dug outs and the Ealing Road end. We'd be able to have proper segregation in that scenario. If there are QPR fans in other parts of the ground they either need to be very good at keeping their mouth shut or willing to be ejected without raising a complaint.

Don't see the problem. We get around 3000 tickets for LR (including the restricted view ones) QPR get 2800 tickets for GP.
If the Stadium Manager, Stewards and the Police do their job that should be the end of it (he said fully knowing that this Utopian dream is just NOT going to happen).
