I disagree with that, the beauty of the ratings are that they are only to known to the poster rating someone(& admin I would assume), so why gang up? Or how could you?
Yes you could have a group with similar views but due to the anonymity of posting you could never guarantee that everyone would follow your lead/request or whatever. People are old enough(well some on here are!) to make there own minds up.
A bit of harmless fun...its only a message board...its not real life...

Why do you two hate each other so much? Or is that private and deep routed!? 
I am all for taking the **** out of divvy behaviour, even from fellow bees, but I don't hate anyone apart from Carl Super Hooper!

Can we have a 'cracked record' award please for people who are incapable of answering any thread without mentioning certain Board members?
And a 'superiority complex' award for people who like to boost their egos by boasting that they know stuff that other people don't?
And a 'pointless bitching' award for all those people who like to sit on here bitching and moaning about the Club/BU/BIAS without any intentions of getting off of their arses to do anything constructive to help?
And obviously I'd like to nominate myself for the permanently ****ed off with the GPG award

Why don't you come out and name the posters who cause you these problems beezy babe. Hiding behind statements such as ....."certain posters"...... "people who bitch and moan"........."people who like to boost their egos".........is a cop out.
Why don't you award yourself the "Like to make veiled criticisms but don't have the guts to put names to my targets" award.

Well Mods, over to you to settle once and for all, I can't see any reason why either party would not want you to answer, just answer the question with a simple YES or NO without any waffle, - has Larry Signy ever asked/tried to have abee banned from the GPG. I asked LS and he seemed to give me a politicians answer.

Signy asked for me to be banned following a post where I described him as "Brentford's dimmest supporter". I think that was a too flattering comment as three weeks ago when I kept pushing him on his "Neither Noades nor Altonwood can take the Club back now" statement in the programme (under Signy's byeline but attributed to Stephen Callen) he stated that he didn't know whether it was true but as I was the only one who had a problem with it then I should take it up with BU and/or BFC So Signy doesn't even know whether or not Noades can take the Club back(he never ever gave it up).........what the **** does he think the million pound appeal is all about.
Anyway Signy sobbed all over one of the mods and asked that I be banned largely on the grounds of me being boring and supposedly Signy's mates at GP were agreeing with him that it was not fair that abee was slapping "diddums" groggy whenever I was in a bad mood and felt like it.
The mod involved pointed out to Signy the names that he had been calling me "little man" was the most recent one at that time, told us both that we were being childish and were as bad as each other and quite right too. I have copies of the exchanges in my Kingston files and I had a slap on my wrist for being "nasty to Larry" but he didn't get his wish to have me banned.
Not sure of the timing as I am in Paris and don't have access to my files but I think that was when Signy wrote his "God's Chosen" article which was headlined on the GPG.

I have tried very hard not to reply to abee's comments in post 38 above - there is absolutely no need to continue this after so long. As the item seemed to fade away, I was happy to let it be - but now that it’s come back, I feel I must put his comments right because they are not quite accurate.
To start with, I don’t believe I did ask for him to be banned from GPG - although he appears to base his allegations on a confidential message I sent to Banana.
Just for the record (as he has posted so copiously about it) let me try to re-create the situation at the time. Both abee and I were behaving - as Banana so rightly pointed out - like little children (maybe not the words he used, but the gist of what he meant) and were both throwing our toys out of the pram.
It got so bad that other people on the site asked us to shut up on the subject of the time - and I did, indeed, try (one of two or three times I have unsuccessfully tried to make the peace with abee). But the arguments continued - so in an effort to bring that particular row to an end I wrote the confidential message to Banana as an independent, impartial mediator asking him to ban BOTH OF US if we raised that particular subject (whatever it was) again. I don’t have notes and can’t remember that far back - but I’m sure the word boring as quoted above by abee was only intended to be the fact that others had posted that they found that subject boring.
Anyway, I did not try to get abee (or myself) banned from the site as he suggests - I happen to believe in free speech, whether it be abee, myself, or anyone else with something to say. It was just on that one topic - FOR BOTH OF US.
Now - can we cut out the abuse, the half truths and the spin?
Oh yes, one last point - on a matter of principal, I’m sure many on this site would like to know how abee got hold of the confidential message sent to an impartial mediator. The mediator concerned, Banana, did not respond when abee asked him to make it public - presumably because he knew the contents of the message I sent him were confidential. So who did leak it to abee? I’m sure most people would like to think their own private matters remain private - and maybe Banana would like to check his own security as people appear able to into his private files.

I did not ask Banana to make the exchanges public and I do not believe that you will be able to reference this statement. You posted that to the best of your recollection you had never asked for me to be banned and I suggested that the moderators may care to jog your memory by PM..........if they even remembered the exchange that is.
I hope that clears things up and I respectfully suggest that you may wish to either delete or amend your post stating that confidential exchanges between you and Banana were sent to me. Do you seriously believe that Banana would have left my post intact if he had sent to me as you suggest the confidential message(s) that you now agree you sent to him. Your statement suggesting that confidential message(s) between you and Banana somehow finished up in my possesion is unworthy of you and untrue.
You have my word (for what that is worth to you) that I do not have copies of the emails or PM's or whatever it was that were sent by you and which caused Banana to write to me and ask me to cool it.
