RE TEA BAR

THE TEA BAR ARE SO SLOW AT ATFER TIME A SNALE COULD BEAT THEN THEY DON,T HAVE A ENOUGH STAFF AND THEY SHOULD SERVE THE FOOD AFTER YOU ORDER ON THE NEXT PART AND HAVE ONE MEMBER OF STAFF GIVE YOU THE AND THE OTHER GIVE OUT COFFEE

RE TEA BAR

I haven't been to the tea-bar since they stopped selling Chomp bars. Unforgiveable if you ask me.

RE TEA BAR

A Anthony - If you order like the way you write the staff working probably haven't got a clue what your on about!

RE TEA BAR

Mmm. One more member of staff would really make a difference. But 's not really worth queuing up for in the first place. Urr, slop.

Antony is right. Unless you leave your post as the ref's putting the half time whistle to his gob, you'll miss the start of the second half.

My mate in the paddock informs me that they've added a bar in Braemar Road, why didn't BFC look at the situation and queues at the food bar first. We've enough pubs around the ground for beforehand, I need me munchies at half time but can't get them.

You're losing a lot of money BFC but that can be said in many many areas, the lot in charge are all dozy and clueless

RE TEA BAR

At oldham I joined the que for the van at half time, I was behind about 20-25 people, I got a burger and a bovril and was back in my seat 5 mins before second half.
At GP we have 3-4 people working in braemar and I could leave 5 mins before half time and join a similar que and I would probably miss 5-10 mins of second half and pay twice as much....Why?

RE TEA BAR

At Oldham, had time for a piss, and joined the q when it had snaked round a fair way around, and only just missed the KO. Would never happen at Brentford. Okay, so there were only 300 bees fans, but it's all relative. Get any normal businessman in and he'd be able to run the catering properly. In fact, if Brentford sell licences to independent burger vans, like the ones which park outside pubs/clubs at kicking out time, then the prospect of competition would mean greater efficiency

The knack is to send the friend, so you can sit down and read the programme - and not be in any danger of missing the kick-off!

Heard the sun was a bit strong down there AB. Have a look through the archives and try to be a little less insensitive. Oh, and by the way, 'you're' would be better than 'your' if we're handing out grammar lessons.

RE TEA BAR

They have the fabled Badger Juice (Panda Pop) tho!!

It's a badger I tells yer.

RE TEA BAR

Still nobody has answered my Question have you ever seen a burger van or a bloke selling Hats and Scarfs At Griffin Park ?

RE TEA BAR

Theres a burger bar in the Braemar Rd (or was last time I went to that part of the ground) but the food was s*it & the tea diabolical!!

Who in their right minds would want to sell scarves? Let's face it most of us leave the pub with just about enough time to get in (have a piss, if your lucky, and maybe pick-up a fanzine) before kick-off. Bugger trying to get anything else!!

Showing my age but there was always someone selling scarfs, flags and rosettes at the Royal Oak (Brook Road) end in the 60's.

Does anyone else remember Bertie Bees Bazaar under the Royal Oak? Always good for bits and bobs.
