REALLY Nervous

We have this stand in joke that I always say that 'Today is a must win game..' and despite it clearly not the case..Today is a MASSIVE opportunity.

I am more nervous today than I have been since the bird at works pregnancy test came back (but don't tell the missus).

yeah, it's a huge oppurtunity, especially as Huddersfield have already lost and Colchester have a tricky away game at Oldham, you can't put a price on 3 points today!

We no longer seem to boyttle the big games and under MA there are now more and more big games so the players are getting used to the pressure.

It is acrapshoot, maybe the ball will run our way, maybe the ref will favour us or them, maybe the ball will bounce in off the post.

These are intangibles out of our control and will massively influence the result - but I will tell you something the team WILL peform and not bottle it.

This is BFC's best oppurtunity to go up. I trust MA to get the players motivated just enough to realise the dream of promotion without putting too much pressure on them. They have experience from last year but this season we should, fingers crossed, go into the last 12 games with a near fully fit squad, only oli and K.o'c seem to be long term. I have the confidence and i'm sure we'll be there come May '06!

Well the ball ran our way, and the ref certainly favoured us!! Oh for more of the same on Fri! Have to say, that with the team we put out today and the quality on the bench to come on, you can see where the extra few quid went in the playing budget.. and maybe it might just be a gamble that comes off this time...

I thought it was 'a must win' and at one stage I thought we'd blown it.

I don't think we are that great, but allied to my predictions in Farnbee's contraption I do now think we have a serious chance of finishing in the top two. If we can win one of Swansea or Colchester I'll be even more firmly of that belief.
