Record Gate Receipts?
With 12,146 in attendance today this has to be a RECORD GATE RECEIPTS today
How much will the two games with Chelsea make us?
Depends if we manage to get the TV fee too
No chance.
No chance.
£750k - £800k........my guesstimate.
Contractually don't they have to show 2 replays? And there were only 2 draws, us and Huddersfield....
I'd imagine they're clauses in case there aren't sufficent numbers of draws/games not played in midweek etc.
Wouldn't rule it out the 5th round draw games are ****ing sh*te!!! And of course there is only 7 of them as our 5th round game against Middlesborough is delayed.
With 4 maybe 5 games to be shown, there's got to be a chance.
For a start there is now way they will show Luton vs Millwall or Mk Dons vs Barnsley
Arsenal vs Blackburn, City vs Leed and Utd vs Reading are hardly appetising either.
Pure profit?? after tax, player bonuses and all the other stuff??
I think the Luton game might be shown. Classic cup game...
Can see the ratings going through the roof for that one.

A week or so ago I put up my 'estimate' for today on the Beesotted site at around £290k. Mark Devlin subsequently confirmed in an interview that BFC expected to make around £300k today.
For Chelsea you can do the numbers yourself. Attendance what.....41,000..... average ticket price I dunno £25 maybe. So gross receipts 41,000 x £25= £1,025,000. Knock off VAT = £855k. Knock off another £25k (maybe conservative) for policing, stewards and all the other happy stuff gets you down to £830k of which we get 45% (is it for FA Cup??) = £375k. Then there are the radio and tv monies (highlights) plus the bucks that BFC will make from marketing sales etc which should be worth £25k to get us £400k from the replay. Add that to the £300k for today and that gets you to erm.........£700k which is much less than my first estimate an hour ago and also explains why the BFC finances were always ****ed up when I was doing them.![]()
ITV will choose Man Utd. I dont know why they just dont sponsor them?!
their last 38 fa cup games have been on tv, would be surprised if they dont carry on the tradition

abee, it's unlike you but have failed to incorporate the profits from the 0871 ticketing telephone number. Adding these in should bring the total up to a cool £1,000,000![]()
:scratch:I imagine hospitality prices to be much more.. did I hear right that ours cost in excess of £100 each, having I think over 50 in there...
