Ref for Norwich
Can't find the Referee Watch thread anywhere but Anthony Taylor is ref for Saturday who coincidentally was the ref for Denmark v Finland when Christian Eriksen collapsed.
Not sure it really matters who is the ref does it? I am struggling to think of a decent ref we have had this season. Can't find the Referee Watch thread anywhere but Anthony Taylor is ref for Saturday who coincidentally was the ref for Denmark v Finland when Christian Eriksen collapsed.
From memory Martin Atkinson at Palace was decent. Not sure it really matters who is the ref does it? I am struggling to think of a decent ref we have had this season.
Jared GillettThe young Aussie guy was OK. Can't remember his name.

I think in some ways VAR have made their job more difficult. Imagine. You see what you think was a handball in the area. Give a penalty. Everyone prepares after normal protests. Get message to wait for VAR. Go to touchline. Think perhaps hand didn’t move towards ball. Change decision. Cue abuse!Refereeing is so inconsistent even at the highest level, and with VAR.
it makes no difference who the referee is in my opinion, they’re not at the standard they should be for this level

It's Anthony Taylor who is... well, read the tweet yourself. A brilliant deduction... not.
Brooks was the one who missed the Bidwell elbow on Raya last season. The other officials are:
Assistants: Gary Beswick, Adam Nunn.
Fourth official: Gavin Ward.
VAR: John Brooks.
Assistant VAR: Neil Davies.

Wouldn’t hold your breath, VAR is clearly different for us , everyone else just gets goals , offsides etc . We get free kicks to us checked and possible penalty checked as possible foul ?Brooks was the one who missed the Bidwell elbow on Raya last season.
Hopefully VAR will assist his poor eyesight.
VAR has assisted in the Everton and yesterday. Both were for high boots, leading to two penalties and btw 2 wins.Wouldn’t hold your breath, VAR is clearly different for us , everyone else just gets goals , offsides etc . Without VAR it would have been 2-2 I think...Wouldn’t hold your breath, VAR is clearly different for us , everyone else just gets goals , offsides etc . We get free kicks to us checked and possible penalty checked as possible foul ?
