On the back of my Swansea ticket (yes the home one), Braemar Road appears to be called "The refreshing Solutions Stand".

New Sponsorship deal?

Who knows? But if I paid good money to sponsor a stand at Griffin Park, I would expect an official announcement. After all, they are sponsors who have paid for an advertisement.

The fact that supporters have had to find out for themselves by taking a magnifying glass to the back of the tickets is shocking, and sums up the state of the club.

No idea at all but I would expect that if someone wanted to rename any part of a hugely historical, 100 year old building they would have to come up with six noughts.


BTW, does this mean that Voice From The Braemar will have his "Braemar Reds" tattoo changed to "Refreshing Solutions Reds"?

It seems strange that no official announcement has been made, but in essense cannot see a problem, if the deal bring in much needed revenue into the club. I will always know it as Braemer Road and its one of those places thats I've not always considered refreshing, especially the toilet area.

Well the club is still calling it Braemar Road. If you look at the 'Play off ticket update' it says BRAEMAR Road is almost sold out.

Perhaps next seasons 'supply' of tickets was orderd when we were in a great position that even Brentford couldnt throw away and so play off tickets would not be needed.

I reckon this could be true

Some months ago, while Huw was still at the Club, I noticed some photo's on his desk which showed "Refreshing Solutions" written on the Braemer Road Stand.

If the Club have got a good price for this then I must admit to beeing all for it - The supporters can still refer to it as the Braemer Road Stand !!

It's true OK. I understand that Refreshing Solutions will be painted on the lip on the stand in the close season and it's described as a very good deal for the club.

I also heard that the sponsor are very happy that the new ticket stock is being used for the play offs with their name on the rear.

So who or what is Refreshing Solutions? If it's the web site listed at the start of the thread, they hardly look the sort of company that has big bucks to throw around.
