He was a big ginger haired bloke, a right lad, when i was a kid while waiting to go through the Royal Oak turnstiles, he came out of the pub and scaled the chain link fence, over the barbed wire, then jumped down into the ground. I also remember him being removed by about 3 ob at Walsall, the last time i saw him was on the connecting train to Huddersfield sometime in the 80's, we were all spotty teenagers and his mate was dishing cans of lager out to us................great days.
Voice from the Braemar said:talking about sheepskins - remember when fulham tried to take the oak in 82 - loads of black geezers in their mob, mostly in sheepskins - slightly stood out from the usual contingent at the back !!
oh, and for the youngsters who werent there , the battle raged for 10 mins with both sides giving no quarter, bees just about moved them along due to increasing numbers but fair play to the scum that day as this was their best mob ever to visit GP - its official !!
