Isle of Wight is moribund. Only for pensioners. Even then at least on the mainland you can venture out a bit without needing a ferry.

Yes but I'm hoping to be a pensioner one day and when that happens, Feltham isn't really the nicest place to be. I'd like to think I can go to the local shop (albeit 6 miles away) without getting my wheelchair stolen. Furthermore, we have more zoos than Chessington (FACT) and the Vecta Lodge of Oddfellows pisses all over the Rhodrons Club. There's even a nightclub in Sandown for the under 60's :yes:.

But you cannot get a decent pint - even in the Summer when they have visitors on the island. So Winter must be even worse. At least you could get a decent pint in Southsea without having to get on a boat.

I really can't argue with this. Because it is true :yes:. The beer on the island is awful. That said, if you can put up with Guinness, you are able to drink it without fear of having the empty glass smashed over your head. Plus it's rich in iron :yes:.
