Just wondered if anyone knew when the club will be giving fans some info on next seasons shirts? Sponsors? design? makers?

I was thinking the same thing a couple of days ago. I still can't understand why we need another new one, only the sponsors need to change.

My view is we should scratch the idea that kits should be changed every two seasons as we change them quicker than that too often and it just annoys people. We should have a new kit each year and only charge half price for it. Then the club can have a guaranteed kit income (like ST's) each year and it'd be easier for families who have to buy for a few kids to afford.

I reckon we should stick with the white away strip. It serves a dual purpose. Not only is it a natty peice of attire, but whenever there's a danger of promotion we can just wave it wildly above our heads in abject surrender.

i think that the black kit should be scraped. It's a terrible looking kit and they always where it at the worst times like at doncaster(away) where you could hardly see the teem becasue of the bad kit.

In the new customer charter that has been produced in the programme inserts for next season's ST's, it only guarantees that a new strip will be current for one season. Says price will be competitive, or words to that effect.

So, any new shirt may only have a shelf life of one season. However, that may be to cover the situation where we are likely to have a new shirt sponsor for 2006/2007. This could be on either the current design with the new sponsors logo, or a complete new shirt design with new (or I suppose existing if renewed) sponsors logo.

I'm surprised the club have not made any sort of announcement to the fans, especially as we only have one proper league match remaining. At least that way supporters would know what was happening and could either plan when to buy a replica shirt or otherwise look out for the announcements on what, when and where.
