Would have thought that Sky would televise the very last game at GP.
Hopefully they’ll change their minds/schedule!

Don’t fancy our chances on 4th or 11th July.

Apart from Reading away they all seem to be reasonable kick off times.

All of these from Wigan onwards are subject to change. As we can see from the Reading game, even non Sky games might be shunted around. Maybe international TV requests? Or trying to avoid overloading iFollow?

We've got football to talk about!!!!!! :bound: :bound: :bound:

They haven't announced any fixtures beyond July 2nd

Tbf, it's not such a big deal for the other 23 clubs, never mind TV viewers, esp since SKY won't be able to do fan interviews or tour the four pubs etc.

I'd say the importance of the game itself (promotion, play-offs etc) will be a much bigger factor in determining whether they'll decide to televise it nearer the time.

Quiz question. Why are the French players not available for Preston at home?

It's looking more likely that pubs could be opening their doors on 4th July.
So we should be able to have a beer near the ground for the final 4 games!!

Yep. Exactly what they don't want us to do.......

It looks like Sky MAY have a live game on Sunday July 19th

This explains the Wednesday finish and not a Tuesday

Looks like pubs will be opening on 22nd June.
"They" don't want big marches through our cities but people
still did it.
I'll be in Brentford for the final game at Griffin Park whatever
anyone says.

I’d be gobsmacked if pubs around grounds are open on match days

I'm sure westwing will use his best judgment and act reasonably and legally in the circumstances lol but seriously they lost the moral authority to tell us what to do several weeks ago.

If the pubs open, why would you not go? If the government think it's a problem then they need to shut them

If the pubs open - I will be there. More fool me maybe. Deffo in the back garden with mates for the Fulham game though.

I best book the 23rd July off to celebrate our promotion .....

Thomas has said we are playing two premier league teams in the build up. Anyone know who?

You may find you’ll be drinking in Chiswick as there’s no way the pubs in Brentford will open on match days

Yes, both away.

Probably at the same training ground. They share it at London Colney, not far from sunny Hatfield!

Arsenal played Charlton at The Emirates today

Any reason why kick off time for games on 22nd July yet to be announced?? (Assume they'll all start at the same time as is normal for last games?)

Not necessarily.....
Kick off times according to Sky:

"On Tuesday and Wednesday at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm".

Would imagine it would be 8:00, but it seems odd these are the only set of fixtures (including those in the PL) without a kick off time.....

I assume it's because they may stagger them but without compromising the integrity of the competition. So will decide closer to the time after the position becomes clearer.

But wouldn't they also do that for last EPL games? Which have all had kick off time advertised as 15:00....

People do live in Brentford. And if the pubs are legally allowed to be open, why wouldn't they - the poor hospitality industry needs to make up as much ground as it can.

*** Resumption Fixture List ***

Being a Wednesday, I hope Barnsley is a 3pm kick off? If not we need to hope it's on Sky so that someone can pop in to the poker room and give us score updates.

I expect in the same way that the police enforce certain opening times before some fixtures they will prevent pubs near stadiums from opening on match days.

As @Guildford Bee explains I doubt very much the police will want fans anywhere near the ground and will take necessary steps to stop that happening.

Wouldn't do the club's reputation in the local community much good either if 100s or 1000s of fans turned up to follow the action in the tight streets near the ground.

Yes, that would clearly be ridiculous. Can you imagine thousands of people congregating on London streets during such a pandemic. The police would of course clamp down on it immediately and arrest anyone so blatantly breaking lockdown laws. Wouldn’t they ?
