The youngsters and Charles/Osbourne and Tillen were all there, think this shows who wants to stick around and/or is sticking around. Not one senior player made an appearance...........

i had a chat with TB at the funday he said the list of released players comes out next weekend,also said we wont be dissapointed with the players that have agreed to join us but for obvious reasons wouldnt name anyone.

Surprised we havent even had a fawning Peter Gilham interview with TB yet on the OS... even just a welcome to the club type thing would have been nice but there you go..

How to pick a team at Griffin Park: Each player trots out on their own and gets gauged by the booing/applause factor, and we could have an applausometer with loads of lights on it like that old tv show whose name temporarily escapes me. Of course, this season we'd have ended up forfeiting for only having 4 men on the pitch.

Add to that,that when obviously the booing hit the right level, they were dragged off the pitch with a hook round their necks and then whacked with this infamous Brentford footie fan baseball bat up the arse and back down the tunnel

Not matter what is said to keep the fans happy, I'm sure players are give a few days to think over new contracts; and I'm sure agents and players will play for time to see who else is sniffing about. Interesting to see who was (and wasn't) at the Fun Day. I'm guessing Friday or Monday we'll get some news.

I think we'll be hearing something pretty soon, either later today or tomorrow. The deadline for handing the list into the Football League must be at the end of this week.

Seems strange that the deadline for names leaving clubs is prior to the end of all games for league clubs though!
Play Off finals being the end of the month, mean six teams at least still have one more game to play!

Thing is though the retained list will no doubt include players that many of us don't want to see again. However as they are in contract still, they are still retained. Surely we can only offer them for free transfer or for sale, which of course doesn't mean they will get off the payroll quickly.
Unless some of them have clauses to release them in the event of relegation. Which might explain some performances.
