Robbie Johnson
Spent a great hour this afternoon in the company of our 80's full back that we signed from The Arsenal.
Let me explain. I joined my local bowls club North Greenford in 2011 and soon discovered that one of the members had a son who had played for The Bees. This bowls member then also told me that his nephew was a football league manager and he turns out to be Gary Johnson !!
Robbie came to watch the bowls today for a while where me and his dad were playing at Bessingby Park. We had a couple of pints in the sun after the game and he had some great stories from back in the day about his time at Brentford and subsequent time in non league football as well as some Yeovil and Gary Johnson stories.
Now a black cabbie, he is a great character and would definitely be one for " an evening with".
