Ron before the game

Its probabley been said several times but...

Before the game tonight on the ITV Sport channel, Ron said:-

"I am not commiting myself to saying im quitting at the end of the season, from next season the club will have to pay its way, i will refuse to fund it anymore"

Excuse me Ron?! Am i the only one who thinks thats crap! If you "fund" the club, then why is the overdraft getting bigger, and why are we 3million in debt?! If you funded the club, we would have no overdraft and would have a bank balance of 0 am i not wrong?!

Ill probably get shot for this...but I totally agree with you. He ran up the debts with silly contracts and coaches being paid stupid money, as was his own wage. He MUST surely know any Bees fan can see through that quote...

Well done for mentioning it and sorry for your sake you werent there to witness a great night. We played well on TV...my, my, now that is a welcome change..

Once again you have shown us what a thick prat you can be Lewis. The most ridiculous post I have seen since you thought up that Day in the Life of Ron Noades thing on the back of your fag packet.

Good thread.

Like you guys I am actually funding the club. I buy programmes, food and of course my ST (and my son's) and I won't be taking all of MY money out at the end of the season. Given my committment over this and the last 40 seasons) does this give me the right to criticise a 'medium-term' investor, too bloody right it does!

They did look lovely together.

He was probably discussing the benefits of walking round the pitch during the game...........surprised he didn't try and do it.
