I come from Rowans home town. Since he got seen by Pompey a couple of years back he has progressed very well. True he hasnt scored competitively for the 1st team yet but anyone will remember there first preofessional goal. If you research into Pompey reserves fixtures on many occasions he has been the start man and goal getter. He carries electric pace and like any young striker wanting to go somewhere he is very hungry. I also heard he was working towards the england under 19's squad. Any player, doesnt matter what age must be good to even be thought about for international football. All I am trying to say is that give him a chance and give him some confidance, he will produce. He is very young and as he is young suffers from form and confidance. If he was poor do u think Harry Redknapp, a very experienced manager would play him up front on his own in the first team?!? I think not. If you expect goals straight away then you are wrong. I am sure tho that when he grabs his first goal, whenever it may be will be followed up with many others. Just for the record his only goal for the first team came against Leicester on his debut when he came on with 5 mins to go a year ago and scored with his first touch to win the game, pre season or not, he was in the right place, hope he does well for you and he carries on progressing.
