Evening Fellow Bees,

Word is on the old rumour mill that Bees Legend Rowan Vine may be seeking to come back to Griffin Park as he misses the atmosphere and buzz of the club.

I'd welcome him back with open wings.

Regards,

Grayboy

I can't believe the response to such a rumour, people have such short memories, the guy was fantastic in the shirt and always put a lot of hard work in.

We need players to move us up the table and he's been here before.

Why not?

Rumours are often wrong but where did this one start ? Is Bobby the great Ross coming with him ? hmmm

Rowan Vine

it has a ring of truth.

it would sort of suit the AS policy of signing older players who are starting to wither on the vine rather than looking for the next dj or jewel for the polishing of...

as an aside, AS may have been on a 'arry boy seminar on wheeling and dealing and trying to get the last bit out of senior players which, in fairness, 'arry did so well at pompey. even though it left them busted.

i hope that andy may start to sign younger players again.

With Roger Cross Gordon Neilson on 2 year contracts ? Because of their age !

He was absolute class and quality was Booby. We certainly need someone like him in the side now except for the fact that his real quality was passing the ball which is something we don't do at the moment.

Rowan Vine

What about Big John O'mara seeing as we like hoof-balling it at least he could win headers.

Bobby Ross my favourite Bees player of all time . Scored an amazing overhead kick against Grimsby at GP once . Not tall but very strong in air . Also captained the side for quite awhile. Those were the days...........sigh

Rowan Vine

I heard a rumour last night, AS is hunting the signing of Herman, Tabby, Bent & Turner to boost our play off push. Good times are on there way ;)

Rowan Vine

What is TABBY doing now . Now if only we could get him on loan ......if only.

Rowan Vine

Thanks Sultan stuck out here in France lost track a bit .Still we have to hope that one day he may be back . Great player Great Club ,BRENTFORD that is !!

You sure that was Bobby thought it was Ward with the overhead kick.

Rowan Vine

Yes I remember it well and also Dai Ward who I remember had a permanent limp .A very good player though .

Rowan Vine

So who is the next QPR player rumoured to be coming to Brentford I am hoping for Taarbet (If thats how you spell it)

Rowan Vine
