I don't like all these bans for dodgy actions. Murali had the worst looking action and was tested a few times and shown to be fine.

Cases like Ajmal,what is the difference now compared to a year ago, 2 years ago etc, why is action illegal now but has been fine previously?

Its also a shame because I was looking forward to him running through the Aussies next month.

I seem to recall that it used to be 5 degrees and then ICC changed it to 15 degrees in the early 2000's when somebody invented the

Harsh on Ajmal, without knowing the facts I am sure his bowling action has not changed over the past 5 years but perhaps the technology has an its easier now to pick up transgressions hence all these other bowlers like Williamson of New Zealand and the Sri Lankan guy getting banned. I think we will see more bowlers getting caught, the more proficient cricket boards like the ECB and ACB catch bowlers before they make the international scene this does not happen as much in the subcontinent.

I'd say his is one of the least dodgy in world cricket as you can clearly see his arm is straight all the way through his action. Its very rare for pace/seam bowlers to be called on this.

That is definitely true squire. Jeff Thomson was the only person I know who was similar but I only saw him at the tail end of his career when I was about 8 or 9 so others may be better placed to comment.
