The home match versus Southampton, which was postponed from Saturday 2nd January due to both clubs continuing participation in the FA Cup, has been rescheduled for Tuesday evening 26th January with a 7.45pm kick off.

What a horrible day for it to be re-scheduled. The following week after January payday would have been much better. Think some may struggle to come up with the funds the last week of January :sad:

me working really do wish they would take shift workers in consideration and give a bit more notice:(

The Football League set the date as opposed to the 2 x clubs.

Rules say any match postponed due to a Cup game must be played at the earliest available opportunity to avoid any possible fixture backlog e.g. in the event of further Cup games clashing with League fixtures or games being postponed because of bad weather etc.

Yes. Odd.

Far be it for me to moan about Bees Player, but I do think news like this should have been made available straight away to all fans, and not just subscribers.
The other day IIRC there was an appeal for help , but the details of how to help were only available, initially, to subscribers!
Fair enough for 'extras' and some interviews to be made available firstly to those who pay a bit more, but important info, and pleas for help should, surely,go out to all our supporters without delay?

There is absolutley NOTHING you can do to assist in the process so you not being there will have no consequence to the child being born.

Suggest you leave Peter Gilhams mobile number with the nurse as she can then call Peter and Peter can announce via the tannoy system if you have a boy or girl - That method will also ensure you do not have to buy any drinks after the game as I have no doubt there will be a line 50 yards long of people wanting to buy YOU a drink.

I think the blame lies with teh Football League Websites or possibly newsbot and or the GPG.

lately i have noticed that the link in the Newsbot articles often takes you to Bees Player and not to the Official Site,. If you follow the link and opt on teh Bees Platyer home page to visit the main official site it lets you and you can view the stories there.

I have also so noticed that when when navigating to other league clubs via the official site that sometimes you can end up at am iplayer page

My little girl (not so little now it was 1990) was due on that day way way back,and she arrived on Boxing day thus ballsing up my plan to watch Bees V orient ( i think thats who we were down to play), as in the words Sagernt Pike "DONT PANIC"..... and good luck....:D:D:D

The Bees Player news section has an RSS feed, the main site doesn't. If you rely on Newsbot to find out what is happening on the O/S you will end up on the Bees Player site, which will ask you to log in.

Simples.

That is the week after my payday which should include a cheeky bonus :sorted: Shame that it is on a Tuesday as the crowd will be 1000-2000 lower than on a Saturday :(

BUT !

If we can beat Doncaster, that'll be another £67k in the bank, which will cover the 2000 loss in attendance, which you might expect, on a tuesday night game.
