Aparently Tomlin made a diving save from a corner to stop a goal. Took one for the team.

Luke Norris equalises for Daggers v Scunny for whom Paul Hayes scored.

Norris scores the equaliser as Dag & Red come from 3-0 down against Paul Hayes' scunny to draw 3-3.

Peterborough have lost 5-4. Lmao

Unbelievable Jeff.

Two thoughts from this.

1. Never leave a game when your team is 3-0 down at half time. A good 300 never returned to their seats for the second half.

2. Mrs Ferguson, wherever you are, hide.

I've never seen anything like it. Although we went in 3-0 down at half time, and hadn't played well, we'd missed glaring chances at 0-0 and 0-2. Johnson made two tactical subs half an hour in which changed our shape and improved us. Sucker punch on half time made it look dead and buried.

Hundreds left not to return and the team were roundly booooood as they re-entered the field for the second half. But there was a far better attitude from the players and once we'd pulled it back to 2-3 we looked good enough for a draw and they were very shaky.

Then we inexplicably took a throw in back to the keeper who didn't collect it. 2-4. Game over.

Wesolowski scrambled a third against his former club before Tomlin tipped a rocket round the post. From my position 120 yards away it was blatant. But my excited squeal wasn't shared by those around me and I didn't notice our players appeal. Lino had his flag across his chest though and the ref wandered over for a natter before pointing to the spot and sending fattie Tomlin off.

Harkins held his cool to send the keeper the wrong way and the job was done. 4-4. Great point. Then the fourth official held up five minutes and a sudden upsurge of noise from all three stands pressed the team on. A year ago this weekend we beat Liverpool. So why not? A couple of scuffed shots and wasted corners. Then a final chance in the 95th minute. A corner. Tarkowski header. Blocked. Kusunga, the Swiss born Angolan centre half, swings a leg at it. Goal. Players jumping into the stands. Unbelievable noise and excitement. Steward tells me to sit down. **** off! Back to the half way line - kick off - whistle - wow.

Not quite as mad as Matt Smith's equaliser against Everton last season but mighty close.

I'm wiped out.

I think man utd winning the champions league they way they did fifteen odd years ago was more exciting myself

Ten points for pedantry. I don't remember the Man United players diving in the crowd.

The amount of fans in that stand at Oldham looked like the same amount as would watch the dog and duck select 11 so slightly easier to jump into the crowd than a champions league final.

The stand was packed to the rafters at kick off. They'd all buggered off at half time.

I do believe Sheffield United captain Michael Doyle's red card means a 3-match ban... ours is their third match...

Oscar shows why Chelski could afford to sell (the excellent) Mata with the opening goal v Stoke.

In other news, the Bee H's telly is on mute - Clark Carlisle has to be the worse commentators on the telly, so many big words (because he's clever), states the obvious and just doesn't shut up with that dreadful monotonous drone of his. That, combined with the equally terrible and annoying Adrian Chiles before, at h/t and f/t is just wrong

Football presentation on TV has barely evolved since the 70s. Except Monday Night Football and Soccer Saturday, its just a change of personnel, although generally worse now.

Why on earth are they showing Chelsea-Stoke anyway on free TV? I really cant be bothered wasting 2 hours of my day off watching Chelsea have a stroll

With him and the other bloke, it's absolutely terrible. He contributes nothing except to give excuses for fouls and the other bloke keeps rambling on about other games.

It's a bit dull, though, as Chelsea seem to be playing a training game, they need to be playing a proper red-and-white team.

The commentator was Sam Mattaface I believe.

Score Centre

Sam Matterface is one of the best commentators around in my book. Fantastic on Talksport. Any commentator who is able to do both TV and radio work have to be admired as they are totally different disciplines. Does not give a controversial "opinion" (Alan Green) or try to be clever (Jonathan Pearce). Very smooth delivery. As for Clarke Carlisle? No problem with him at all. ITV deliver a far superior package than the tired PC BBC
