Just tuned ino the Sunderland/Southampton game, and its ridiculous the amount of empty seats for an FA Cup 5th Round match. Can let Southampton off, is a long way to travel and with recen storms the fans down south may have more worrying things to think about, but the Sunderland turn out is appalling.

yesterday the bbc said they had a 10am inspection but they did it at 12pm.. that's a disgrace for the fans tbh..

Not really. An inspection the day before would have been better, but as the pitch must have been ok, they asked for an inspection nearer kick off time. Carlisle fans would've left at around 6am. The game wasn't going to be called off at that time.

Don't like seeing players booked but podolski has commuted two challenges now that have got no further punishment except a free kick yet are not so dissimilar to challenges by Liverpool players that have received cautions..

I believe he was the one that fouled Suarez for the penalty now. Is he ever gonna get a caution? Persistent fouling now.. And yet nothing. As I said above, I don't like seeing cautions but take into consideration other players cautions, then he should have got one by now...

Bloody hell - even if the first could be deemed as soft, Suarez was fouled by chamberlain and was a stonewall penalty and not given. Worst thing was Howard Webb was 5 yards away and completely unobstructed. Ridiculous decision to not point for a second penalty.

That I agree. It was a second penalty which would if scored brought the game level. Though based on the challenges by podolski being let off, can see why Gerrard was let off.. Though if he hadn't already been booked he more likely would have been then
