god knows. I suspect though that boro will finish top 6 whatever so I guess it knocks Cardiff out of any real hope of play offs.
Finally came to terms with our league position tonight. Instead of being worried about relegation my focus was on top 6 - result surprisingly found myself supporting leeds against our old foes bournemouth. Fear of relegation has finally left me!

Years gone by have taught me to be pessimistic but the idea relegation was a possibility left my mind weeks ago. Still can't quite come to terms with where we are though, and that we're looking up and hoping for the likes of Leeds to win to do us a favour as they're no threat to us.

Surprisingly very easily. Brighton were fantastic with Texiera, Ince and O'Grady absolutely outstanding. Ipswich meanwhile were a complete shadow of the team who brushed us aside and tbh, but for a little misfortune and poor finishing, Brighton should've been 5-1 up before gifting Ipswich a dreadfully sloppy second goal. They never once looked like taking anything less than all 3pts though.

I thought Teixeira was their stand-out player at GP, involved in everything creative, and was pleasantly surprised when he didn't start at the AmEx. That Ince was their MoM at home says a lot about Chris Hughton's 'defence first' focus... let's hope they can get really rolling by March, when they play a series of our rivals.

I think the cup shocks of Chelsea and City were fair game but someone mentioned that Watford were losing which was scraping the barrel.
