4-0 so far, boring as hell.. no national anthem, *****.. well the Swans will be playing under the St Georges flag in Europe..

I'm not sure their incredible achievement in reaching the Final should be simply dismissed as a waste of time.

If I was one of the 30-odd thousand Bradford fans I would feel quite p*ssed off sitting back and letting Swansea with their talent come at you. At least we had a go at Chelsea first half last week and they should have done the same. Mind you Swans are a far better footballing side than Chelsea who were Sh*t again today.

I'd assume the plan was to soak up the pressure and then have a good go at Swansea midway through the second half. Unfortunately, going in 2-0 down at half time put pay to that. I think the occasion got to them tbh, they have the ball away too cheaply and definitely performed much better in the semi against Villa. Agree that Swansea were excellent though.

Them being there isn't a waste of time, the game was a waste of my time. Not even a contest and thats Bradfords fault for not turning up

Nani sent off for 'high foot'.... very very harsh sending off and probably shocked the entire stadium and millions watching.....

very true Nada - however i think ManU will be surprised at the depth of sympathy the footballing world feels towards them (i.e. none) as they have had far more than their fair share over the years. so i wish they'd all shut up. but still, incredible decision....

Too true. Nothing like being gracious in defeat and Fergie and co are being nothing like gracious....

I feel some sympathy for Utd. That was never a sending off and it probably determined the outcome of the game. The argument that you can be sent off for a high foot regardless of intent is the biggest load of cack I've ever heard. If that were true, they would have to ban overhead kicks.

And I'm no fan of them but that was some atmosphere at Old Trafford last night.

Score Centre

fair enough Roy, i do agree on the decision itself, it was never ever a red, and i've been amazed by some of the reactions justifying the sending-off.

Score Centre

I don't think it was a red card offence, but to justify it - Nani had his foot so high (whilst jumping too) with studs showing that if there were a player in close vicinity (like Arbeloa was) it can be very dangerous. I've heard arguments that if Arbeloa was not there to challenge the ball then that would have been fine which I agree, but why should he not be there to challenge for the ball? Nani made a decision to jump high with foot up and hit Arbeloa in the chest. That is classed as dangerous play in my book. I can understand the red card, but whether I agree is another matter.

lol Nani's ban could be increased by Uefa.. love it..

i "get" that part of the argument but any part of the game "can" be dangerous if you think of it like that. 'elf and safety gone mad.

it would be reckless-dangerous if he made any sort of motion to try and attack the opponent. he clearly clearly was only trying to control the ball in an instinctive way. which is why it's yellow to me.

i have come around to actually thinking it very funny, to be honest. poor sulky Alex

I don't buy the argument that the red card, justified or not changed the game. red cards do not change a game, goals do. For Christ's sake how many times have we played against ten (or in some cases nine) men and come away with nothing. The fact is RM scored the two goals they needed and who's to say they wouldn't have done it against eleven.

Score Centre

Really hate to say it but didn't Chelsea win with 10 men lady season????

Man U and all their glory hunter fans need to look at their own teams performance rather than blaming the ref

Score Centre

Great ain't it. Uefa are move bothered about not giving an interview than Fergie's and Rio's behaviour to the ref. so much wrong with football!

Think of it the other way round had it been a Real player doing that to Ryan Giggs would red nose not be screaming at the officials to get their player sent off? Of course he would.

What the ref did wrong was break the unwritten rule that you don't give big decisions against Manu at Old Trafford

Exactly. Don't forget the English/British media also, they are just as bad although the more sensible ones (ie Guardian, Indepedent, etc ) are more reserved.

Long drive back to Surrey for those Man Ure fans.

lol rofl lol rofl lol rofl

What made my blood boil even more on Tuesday night driving home from Stevenage was the first caller on radio 5 berating her beloved MU's sending off was from MK, her home team (OK up for question) but surely she should have been to watch MK beat Donny impressively.

I give up on plastic armchair football supporters, well I did 20 years ago

Still wasn't a sending off though. If it was, Klaus Fischer wouldn't have had much of a career!

when you see Wigan play like that you wonder how the hell they keep giving the RaRa's a chance of staying up.

Spot on. How can Wigan be where they are in the league when they are capable of performances like that?

Flip side. Everton were appalling - long-ball merchants. How can they be where they are in the league?
