Celtic's biggest blunder tonight was to not score an away goal. They were nailed on favourites to win and failed miserably! They will need an intimidating crowd in the 2nd leg to get them back into this contest! What team can sell their best players and still win a league with ease?! Scottish football is an absolute joke.

Played on an artificial surface apparently, that would have had some bearing on their performance. It's never easy going to the far side of Eastern Europe...Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan and the like.

Thought it was a bit like us at times. All the possession, more shots but not enough cutting edge. Think they will probably turn it around at home although may have to score 4. Still, was quite funny

Yes. My angle was more I thought Wigan would be dead strong rather than Donny struggle but you are right on that aswell. Funny old game saint. Although it leaves the door wider open for the scum to go back up :sad:

Yeah you can see it happening. Slightly encouraging to see Wolves being outplayed by Crawley, just think what we could do to Wolves if we play like we did against Sheff Utd.

Wolves have some quality players but don't look a quality team.Kevin Doyle is class also Adams playing well,Crawley playing good football and should be level.

Wolves 2 Crawley 1 very lucky win Crawley were by far the better team,Wolves with their present line up hold no fears for us but Crawley have shown its not all about big budgets

Enjoyed that game but not the result. Wolves will obviously be up there but they are very beatable on that performance

3-1!!! Awful defending from City for all the Cardiff goals. Joe Hart terrible as well. Too much hot air blown up his rearend in recent years. Indicative of how poor England are if he is our #1

Why was he trying to push the Cardiff player rather than focussing on the cross coming in? Just stand back and go for the ball if it looks like your getting impeded these days you always get a foul.

First goal he makes a decent save but then just lies on the floor.
Second goal like you say he doesn't focus on the cross properly and obviously expects a foul even though Gunnarson merely stands his ground
Third goal is just a defensive mess all round

Bit of a bore at Old Trafford to be honest, neither side wanted to lose it seems. Rooney probably best player on the pitch ironically.
Got the feeling it is not quite so intimidating without Fergie and the referee's decisions seemed more balanced perhaps???

Very NOT impressed with Preston NE at Deepdale tonight....very jammy performance to get 3 points. Thought Oldham were very impressive whereas PNE just laboured. For once I agree with the BBC match stats; Oldham had 62% possession and had 12 corners compared to Preston's 1. On that performance I would fear Oldham more!
