Perfect timing for Leeds imo with Saiz coming back. Comeback will give them some confidence and he'll further boost them.
Having said that they've got a nasty run away to Derby. Then playing us. Then Boro away. Then Wolves.

They are fading fast. 1 win in the last 8 league games, I think. Next 2 games against Fulham and Cardiff.

Fabian Delph is a yellow/red waiting to happen, don't see how anyone can argue with that red. Pep being a nobber as usual, how anyone falls for that mr nice guy act is beyond me.

Basically shows that teams can surround a ref to get him to change his mind. Unless he's had more info from the 4th official then that's an awful moment for football

Jermaine Jenas pathetically trying to say it was not a red too. If that was a City player that was taken out they'll be saying definite red and City players need protecting!

After Rochdale having a real go at Spurs yesterday, it’s disappointing to see Wigan “parking the bus”.
Never liked Wigan.

Games like that, and Rochdale yesterday, make me wish we'd have a proper go in the cups again.

I suppose it counts for nothing in the long run, but great memories of Sunderland, Southampton, Chelsea, Everton etc.

Fans running on to the pitch to celebrate with their players is one of the joys of sport (yes know it’s against the law but what images do reports of previous triumphs use; Beaumont carried by the crowd, Scots on the Wembley crossbar)

As I was watching this, my thought was - How many of these are “half and half scarf merchants”?
I bet about 20% of those that went on the pitch will attend the next league game.

Makes me laugh when pundits say wigan deserved it because they defended so well.

How you end up with 17% of possession against ten men and yet "experts" say they deserve to win, is beyond me.

They deserved to win because they scored more goals that's all. They certainly weren't the better team.

They were defensively!

They didn’t play well.
They were well organised, boring and defended doggedly.
City were piss poor, and Wigan got lucky with the sending off.

Exactly, very similar to Canos' sending off in fact probably worse yet all the pundits saying it wasn't a red....why? because they want to stay on the side of the current darlings of the PL Man City.

Utter hypocrisy by Pep who should be taking action against his own player if he was really true to his statements about protecting players or is it only Man City players who should be protected.

Yeah, we all know all that.

Just as we know that City still had a quarter of a billion pounds worth of players on the pitch - you could buy the whole of Wigan for that, town, club, stadium and all - and still lost!

Which makes me laugh.
