Do you think he's a fool for joining the rotation system or do you think (like him) it's too good an opportunity to turn down?

You can't blame him for wanting to move on and to try and better himself as a player. Champions League football will help him no doubt, but he's not gonna be playing week in week out like he was down at the Valley is he? Time we till I 'spose.

I would like to have seen him stay at Charlton, but business is business.

It wasn't that long ago that Charlton were ground sharing and bankrupt, so from thier point of view it is a very good move. They also have plans to devlop the ground further to push up the capacity.

From Parkers point of view, he will be branded greedy, but two previous offers were submitted before he agreed to move so who is being greedy?

It will open up his England chances, Sven likes to spend a bit of time down Stafford Bridge way
